It was next morning, and I was waking up from last night party. I did have fun, but I think I took too much beer.
I was slowly opening my eyes, until I could see the roof. I was trying to sit up, but my body felt lazy. 'Probably from last night.' I thought. I leaned to my side and pushed my self to stay up. My body was being supported by my left arm, and now I was looking at my new room, which I never got the chance to observe it.
It was a normal size room. If I stood where the door was, the bed would be to my left close to the wall. Beside the bed was a wooden table with a chair. To the opposite of the bed was the window with the view of the forest. And, in front of the door was a drawer. It wasn't bad, but it was homie material.
I took my legs out of the bed and put them on the floor, with my arms on my side putting preasure on the bed. I lifted my head and looked through the opened window. But, when I looked, I wasn't met with the view of the forest, but with a crow standing there, looking at me.
I tilted my head to the left, and the crow did it like a mirror. I did it to the other side, and it did the same. Despite my body being lazy, I stood up, and walked towards it. The crow didn't move to fly away, but stood there, with it's eyes on me. I stopped, and we were a foot away from each other.
Like a curious cat, I stared to reach for it. When I got close to touch it, it bit my index finger. I quickly retracted and winced. I looked at the small bite, and it started to bleed. But then, the blood retracted inside, and the wound closed itself.
Y/n: "What the hell." I said shocked yet confusion.
I looked back at the crow, and it tilted its head again, then he leaned it's head towards me. I, cautiously, reached for the crow, then felt it's small head under my finger. Slowly, caressed it's head, then it's neck. I finished caressing the bird, it shook himself, cawed at me, and flew away.
I followed it with my view, and watched it disappeared through the trees. Then, I looked at the mountains and the rising sun. It was the greatest view I could've ever seen in my life, but that moment was interrupted by a knock on my door.
Once I opened my door, I was met with the boss.
Boss: "Glad to see you up. Are you ready for your first mission?" I shrugged my shoulders.
Y/n: "Not that much. Just confused of to what are we looking for."
Boss: "I told you last night, but I guess that you drank too much, huh?" I shrugged again. "Then, let me 'refresh' your memory. You, as well as Leone, will be going to the north, where once stood a village. Now it's all ruins, burned to the ground. What you will search there is an Imperial Arm, or clues to where to find it."
Y/n: "A Search and Retrieve mission." She put her normal arm on her hip.
Boss: "Glad to know you still remember something. Well, I'll see you downstairs. Tatsumi and Akame are already making breakfast. If you want to help, go and give them a hand." She started to walk down the hallway, until I stopped her.
Y/n: "Hey Boss." She turned to me. "Is there a reason why Leone is treating me the way she is?" Her body turned to me and she crossed her arms.
Boss: "How is she treating you?"
Y/n: "Well, the first day she had this type of attitude towards me, and yesterday she was all happy everybody else."
Boss: "I see. Well, don't get her wrong, she is been cautious around you."
Y/n: "But, I haven't done anything wrong to her."
Boss: "Maybe to her, no. But to someone else, yes." I tilted my head in confusion. "You said you live in that house for eight years, correct?" I nodded. "And you turned your back to them, and came to us."
