The sun was so bright and the wind was a lot stronger and colder considering winter was around the corner.

We both barely realized that we were still holding hands and both of us tore them apart quite quickly.

**"Uh-Uh s-sorry" Gummy stuttered.

**"No no, I-I'm s-sorry." I stuttered as well.

He rubbed his neck with his hand. I guess the over excitement got to us.

**"Uh... so where to now?" I broke the silence.

**"Oh right! Let's go, I'm taking you to a special restaurant." He turned towards me.

**"Oh no. What? So you can just stare at me eating the whole time? No I don't want to go to a restaurant, not unless you'll eat with me." I said stubbornly. After all these visits he paid me at the hospital, he was there in the cafeteria at lunch time with me and he just had to watch me eat. He should just take that ridiculous mask off so we could eat together like real people.

**"But I'm not hungry though."

**"Nope," I shook my head, **"I'm never eating with you again until you eat with me." My elbows were crossed. I really just wanted him to eat with me, that's all.

**"Ugh, why do you have to be so stubborn? You know I can't take this mask off so stop pressuring me to," he said with a boring tone.

I just giggled as he grabbed my arm and lead me to his car.

We ended up going to a near by amusement park or carnival or— whatever you wanted to call it.

**"O-o-o can we go on that ride?" I asked Gummy, pointing to a fast ride that went in circles on these carts.

We had finally gotten our tickets and made it through the long line at the entrance. The heat was getting stronger as time passed more towards noon.

**"What do you mean "we"?" He looked at me.

A visible frown spread across my face, **"You mean you're not going on any rides with me?"

**"No, I don't want to ride any rides." He said in a chill voice.

**"Aww Gummy please? I don't want to go alone." I whined.

**"Nope." He shook his head.

**"Pretty please Gummy? I'll be scared to ride it without you there." I tried convincing him.

**"Then don't ride it if you're scared." He plainly said.

I scoffed. How dare he. He started walking off until I said—

**"Come on Gummy~ Don't be such a grandpa."

He walked back up to me, **"We're going on that ride right now and then we'll see who's a grandpa."

**"Uh... ok" That was unexpected.

We walked up to the ride, Gummy standing confidently, waiting in the line. What's up with him? Did I offend him by calling him a grandpa? I giggled to myself.

**"You know, the more I think about it, you honestly do kind of resemble a grandpa Gummy."

**"Yeah whatever you say."

Time for the wait in line sped up and we were up next. We got into a cart together sitting down quickly.

I was so excited, **"You ready Gummy? You ready?"

I hadn't rode a ride like this in years, it reminded me of my childhood, or at least the good parts of it. I missed this adrenaline and this feeling of overflowing excitement. I felt like I could just scream at the top of my lungs out of the excitement. A rare bright smile lead it's way to my mouth.
