Chapter 3

•Vals POV•
I gasped as I fell to the ground, I looked up and saw Ty and Jye silently laughing at me, " Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I hear a males voice, thank god I ran into a person and not a pole. I thought to myself, I look up and see a guy around the same height as me and he is blonde. "Do you need a hand up?" He asked politely, I nodded and toke his hand that he held out. I looked into his chocolate eyes and felt instantly mesmerised. I soon realise I was staring and smirk " Thanks, I'm Val, you are?" I ask his name and introduce myself "Daniel but most people call me Skip." Skip, I silently say, by that I mean I said it in my head. I stand up straight and thank Skip for helping me, "Thank you, but I really must be going, I'm meeting up with my friends." I tell him I don't tell him their names though "At least give me your number, I wanna meet up with a pretty girl like you again sometime." I giggle and pass him my phone and he passes his to me I name my contact name as The Cute Redhead, I laugh at his choice of emoji Skiplet 😘 I wave and watch him walk over to 4 friends of his. "Muuuuum." I hear Ty groan I roll my eyes and point, "Look, it's Aunt Sass!" He runs over and jumps on Sass's back, I laugh and walk over with Jye. "Guess what?" I squeal in excitement, I mean I may be a player but if I see a hot guy that may or may not want a date with me I get excited. "What?" they ask just as excited "I MET A GUY,!" I yell at them " Oh and Sass, we have no food so we'll need to go out for dinner." I say aside to Sass, she nods her head in agreement. Mariam's face suddenly lights up with excitement,"Why don't you guys come to my place for dinner tonight, gives you the chance of meeting the rest of your neighbours." She suggested, Sass and I nodded on agreement, I walked over a to Ty and Jye "Hey buddy," I say addressing Ty "Wanna see if you can go to Jye's for the night?" I ask him, they both nod vigorously and I hand Ty my IPhone 5S to call his mother, "Mum," I hear quietly as Jye walks away on the phone, he soon walks back," "Aunty Val, mum said she'll pick us up at 6 and drop us home tomorrow at 7 pm." he tells me, probably trying to remember everything his mother had told him I smiled down at him and he hands me my phone back I see that I've got a text from Skip

Skip: Hey, come over to my place tonight for dinner? Meet my friends.
Val: :/ Sorry bub I'm having dinner with mine and Sass's new friend tonight, maybe some other night. Sorry.

I laugh at the pouty face emoji he sent me I look up to see that my friends had ditched me at taken my child with them "Ugh!" I groan pretending to be upset and angry cause I know Ty will laugh at me so I'll find him and Sass. "It's not fair!" I say angrily while stomping my foot. I hear a small giggle and then hear a small sound of a slap, Sass has obviously slapped her hand over his mouth to stop him giggling, soon after Jye starts giggling aswell Mariam copies what Saskia did and slapped her hand over his mouth to stop the sound reaching me, I smirked, laughed and walked over to the plastic plant and pretend to look for Ty and Jye. "Hmm, where's the kiddy winks?" I know Ty hates being called a kiddy wink so he'd be getting angry, i jump around to behind the plant "Raa!" I yell at them, I see Ty and Jye jump. Soon after Ty jumps up and tackled me to the ground and started what he called 'punching' me in the stomach, lets just say it tickled more than it hurt. I laughed at him and stood, me sea green eyes passing I've the sea of people before us, there is a million screaming girls, they're all chanting somthing that sounds like Janiskions or something. I didn't want Ty or Jye to get lost so I grabbed their hands and walked away from all the girls to the exit if the mall, I walked over to Sass's Audi A6 and unlocked and opened the doors for the boys, i passed my phone over to Ty and asked him to text Sass saying that we were going home, he passed my phone back after 10 minutes, my son is a bit of a perfectionist so he made sure that everything had correct grammer, punctuation and spelling before he sent it. Him being a perfectionist meant he got high grades in school, he always asks me to check his weekly homework to make sure he's right, he hates being wrong which is why we never fight, he knows I'm older and knows more so if we fight he knows he's wrong. I slowly pull out of the shopping centre parking lot and on to the main road. Soon enough Ty, Jye and I were home I saw my baby parked in the front yard with a tall guy who was pretty buff and had ice blue eyes, with dark brown hair sweeper to the side, "JAKIE!!!" I yelled running over to Jake and jumping on his back tackling him down to the ground in a hug. " Hey baby girl," he said while kissing my forehead, I smiled at his nickname for me, he has had since I was 10, "Hey bub! I missed you bubby!" I told him even though he was at least 3 months older I still called him bub because he calls me baby girl, I don't know why though. We met in year 4 when he moved from Melbourne, Glenroy I believe. He was been my best friends since then, I used to have a major crush on him in year 6 and 7, I got over that in year 8. Once I left school after year 11 I lived with Ty and Jake in an apartment complex, I had a job of being a waitress and dancer at a small café owned by Mr and Mrs Barbage, Jakes parents, he used to help me choreograph my dances for the weekends. During this time Lacey, Jakes mum, was upstairs looking after Ty for me, I loved that job and I still do, but I needed to quit so I could spend some time with Ty, because he was starting school next month. That's how I lived with Sass, she worked with me, I had to train her and she danced with me. So after I quit Sass, Ty, Jake and I went for a week in Glenroy, to see Jakes Aunts and Granparents. When we got back, I looked for jobs that could get me a lot of money so I could buy a house for me and Ty, Sass also needed a house so we worked together to buy one, now we owned a massive house, one of the biggest on the street. Sass has been staying here for 2 weeks while I was staying with Jake, until now. Now I was sitting on the ground with Jake who I hadn't seen since I left his house 2 weeks ago, I was staying with guys I met in clubs bars and pubs. We got up off the ground and as soon as Jake got up Ty tackled him to the ground, he was pretty strong for a 5 year old, problem stronger than Saskia, he'd be stronger than me if he worked hard enough. "Bub, come inside, let me show you around my new house!" I yelled in his ear. He holds his ears in pain. "Ok, ok. As long you don't do that in my ear ever again!"
I wish Jake came more often
