The door opened and there, on the threshold was Skip, the guy I met earlier today at the mall, I ran into him. He smiled. "Heeelloo," He seemed to drag out the letters of the word. Skip stared at me and Jake, me in particular, I looked passed Skip and saw Saskia, she was facing the door but wasn't paying attention to us at the door. I willed her to look over here, eventually she looked over, she looked at us and her eyes widened, she rushed over to the door and later her hand on Skips shoulder and spoke, "Skip, why aren't you letting my housemate in?" Skip looked at her in confusion, but opened the door wider to let us in. I clasped my hand around Jakes so I wouldn't lose him, it wasn't that big of a crowd, just Mariam, Skip, 5 other guys whom I didn't know, Sass, Jake and I. I just wanted him to stay with me until I found Mariam,then he can go and make new friends, if he wants to if not, he can chill with me. My eyes scanned the area for long dark hair, I soon spotted her, talking to a dark haired guy, holding his hand and kissing his cheek occasionally. I walked over to her while Jake's hand was still firmly clasped in mine, I tapped her shoulder and she turned around, a confused look on her face, which soon grew into a smile as she looked at me. Her eyes wandered over to Jake's face, then down to our hands. She looked at me with a slight smirk on her face, "Hi?" She spoke, looking at Jake. "Oh, Mariam, this is Jake, Jake, this is Mariam." I looked at both of them, Jake was an absolute slob around people he knew, but he was an absolute gentleman out in public, he held the hand that wasn't being held by me, out for Mariam to shake. "What a gentleman." She stated, I just laughed and Jake glared at me, "Chill J, go make some friends cause God knows you don't have any other ones." I say with a disgusted look on my face, looking at him like he was an insect, "Fine!" He said with fake hurt walking away swaying his hips, I stifled my laughter as he walked over to Saskia and pouted at her, pointed at me and pouted again. Saskia looked at me, raised an eyebrow and shrugged it off, then back at Jake, smiled and shooed him away. I turned back to Mariam who was talking to the guy she was kissing before, I have her a look that said, "Introduce me?" She nodded and pulled on his sleeve and turned him around so he was facing me, he smiled a toothy smile, I smiled back, with no teeth. "Ronnie, this is Val, she lives next door with Saskia. Val, my husband Ronnie." The way she said his name and looked at him, it was with pure adoration and love, no one had ever looked at me like that, they only looked at me with lust, shock and awe, I smiled and held my hand out, there was a bit of a breeze blowing as I shook his hand, like earlier this morning goose bumps exploded onto my skin, "Excuse me." I excused myself from the conversation and wandered over to Sass who was talking to one of the guys I didn't know, he had 2 lip piercings next to each other, on the left side of his bottom lip, spider bites. He smiled a smile, full of perfect teeth, his chocolate brown eyes glowed in the slight light from the solar fairy lights that lined the trees and fence, you could barely distinguish where the pupil started and the iris began, you could see tiny little flecks of hazel and gold on the edge of the pupil. "Uh, I'm Luke, Luke Brooks, he grabbed another boys arm who looked a lot like Luke, "This is my twin brother Jaidon, but he hates that so call him Jai." I nodded and smiled at both of them, while smiling I introduced myself, "Valintine Clare, I live next door." I pointed my thumb behind me to our two story modern house, Luke looks over behind my shoulder and his eyes darkened, I look to where his gaze was, he was looking straight at Jake. "Luke?" I said, trying to catch his attention, his eyes went back to normal and his gaze flickered back to mine, "Yes?" He said while smiling at me, he glances over at Jaidon and them back at me, I do the same but with Saskia. "Have you seen the pool?" Luke and Jai asked in unison. I was scared
