Jens pov

Leah dropped us off earlier. She's such a caring woman. She made sure Veronica went to sleep after showering and even read her a bedtime story. Such a mom.

Why couldn't leah just stay with me?

Anyways shes left already and Richard is almost here. I've just finished showering and I'm in a tank top and shorts with some slides on to walk around the house. I'm snacking again on some food. Chocolate chip cookies to be exact.

He texts me he's here and I made sure he didn't ring the door bell so Veronica wouldn't wake up since she needs sleep. It's not like I'm sneaking him in. I just want her to be asleep.

"Hey" I smile and gave him a light hug. "Hey. Getting ready to sleep already?" He asks and closes the door behind him. "No I just barley showered after my ex left because she stayed to make sure Veronica went to sleep"

"How was it today?" He asks. We sit at the couch.

"Fun. So fun. I've never really realized this much that she and Veronica are super close. I knew they were but spending a whole day with them just opened my eyes more. Like why did she leave me if she loves Veronica this much? I mean she didn't know that Veronica was my daughter till after we broke up. But it's so unfair because maybe things would've worked out if we met through Veronica's school instead of at a club." I said.

"Didn't you say she just wants to be friends with you?" He asks. "Yeah but I'm so attracted to her! She really believes-" I pause and shake my head. "Me and her had sex again like.. after we broke up. She still has attraction towards me too."

He raised his brows. "I'm crazy about her. Don't judge me" I said. "I'm not judging" he giggles. I sigh loudly and lay back on the couch and looked at the tv.

"She's just dumb as hell for breaking up with me before even giving my daughter a chance. Sometimes I wish I pushed her more to give her a chance to meet her but she didn't even try."

"Maybe she just wanted to be in your life, fucking around with you and shit" he says. "No she's just not ready for kids! I felt that we were falling in love. We made each other so happy and she still wants to be friends with me. She's not just using me" I said.

"Hmm" he mumbles. "Whatever. At least me and her still talk. It'll just hurt a lot once I find out Clarissa and her shares a first kiss." I said. Richard tried to be slick and places his hand on my bare thigh. I let him leave it there but if he tries anything else I'm stopping him.

"Sometimes that's just how life goes" he says. "Yeah.." I said. I leaned into his shoulder and he ends up wrapping his arm around me. No feelings whatsoever. Me and him just talk but I know we aren't at that next stage. I just know he doesn't give a fuck and will fuck whenever he can.

He rubs his hand up and down my shoulder for a bit. Then brings his hands up to scratch around my head softly. It's probably one of my favorite feelings. It's so much better from Leah though.

"What're you doing tomorrow?" I ask. "I'm not sure. I'm supposed to see my mom tomorrow and my sisters but it's all up to them if plans change" he says.

"Oh okay. Well..hold up. I'll be back. I gotta go get my charger." I said. So I left and went up to my room. I plugged my phone in the charger instead. I looked at my phone and see a text from Leah.

"Hope we can spend time again. Us three :)"

"For sure! I'll let u kno when we're free" I replied.

"Where's Veronica's room?" I hear a voice say. I kind of jumped but I turned around and it's just Richard leaning on the doorframe. He looks good like that. He's just in a white T-shirt but his muscle are peaking through and hers also in sweats.
