This whole week I've been thinking about that night with Leah when she took me to her friends party. The kisses. Me complaining then her making me feel better. Then more kisses. So perfect. I'm..happy? It's officially been a month of us dating. She's been so patient with me. I mean it's normal that we haven't had sex yet because it's only a month but also people rush to have sex which I'm trying not to do.

Anyways, I just picked up Veronica from my moms place since I got off work a few minutes ago. I'm getting her food then going home. I decided for in n out again but this time I wanted a burger and a shake. Which is reminding me of Leah.

I drove through the drive thru to get our food. After getting it, I took a picture of the milkshake and sent it to Leah just to mess with her because I know she's been craving it.

"Lucky ass" she replies.

"Mommy can I have milkshake now?" Veronica asks. "Yes babe sorry. Here" I said and handed it to her then drove off to go home.

I'm now sitting at the dining table in my house with Veronica while I was checking her school folder.

"Wow! Baby you're doing so good in school lately. I'm so proud of you!!" I said. "Yay!" She says happily.  "Keep up the good work and who knows.. I might take you to Disneyland again" I said. She gasps and smiles more. Always proud of my baby. I taught her so well. And I'd love to meet her teacher since she's always treating Veronica so sweetly. Crazy how I've never met her. Only my mom has. But once my shift changes at work which is in a couple of months, I'll be able to take her to school and finally meet her. I wanna know more details myself how my child is in her class.

Later that night Veronica wanted to sleep in bed with me so I let her. She's watching her cartoon show in my room so I'm letting her fall asleep to that while I was on my phone texting Leah. She wanted to call but I said that I'm with family so not tonight. But we're just texting, flirting, being funny per usual.

"Missing some kisses" she replies. She always changes the damn subject. "Missing urs" i replied. Smiling at my phone like a weirdo.

"Are you busy this weekend?" She asks.

"Kind Of But I can put some time in for you"

"Lol ok I want to go out with my friends. They plan to go to the club. I want u to come..I'll pick you up. When's a good day?"

"The club? I gotta dress up again?"

"Yes! Pleaseeee"

"I'll come don't worry 😂"

"Yay! Lol"

"Saturday is good" I reply.

"Okay cool."

And we just kept on texting all night..even though I should be sleeping.

"Okay I'm gonna sleep now. Work for me starts at 7am 😂" I replied. "Oh fuck. It's 1am!"

"I know! 😭 goodnight I'll text you tomorrow!"

"Okay goodnight :)" she replies. Then I fell asleep not too long after that.

The next day

Alarms seem so much louder when it's this early in the morning.

"Mommyyyy" Veronica whines as the alarm was going off.

"No wake up honey I gotta get to work" I said and sat up then turned the alarm off.

I got ready, then I got her ready for school. After having her shower, I dressed her up, tied her damp hair into two pigtails making her hair slick and shiny, put on her shoes then squeezed her face. "My pretty girl" I said. But I didn't realize I was running behind on time.
