Jens pov
I woke up to my phone alarm going off. I ignored it for a few seconds but then I realized I was cuddled with Leah. I'm so stupid.
I quickly got up and woke her up as well.
"You and Veronica have to be at school!" I tell her. "Oh fuck" she whispers and sits up. I really don't know self control. Me and Leah always end up having sex but I noticed how passionate it was last night. I was so into it but also cause of the news I found out about her. Finding out she's my baby's mom... I love her but she kept such a big secret from me. Its crazy how she doesn't know Veronica is hers. It's worst than how I kept my secret from her I guess. Because she literally left Veronica alone as a baby. Acted like she was just a young lady this whole time with no hint of history that she has a kid. Just thinking about how she's her real mom amazes me. It's crazy! And I've been having sex with her. It's normal for parents to fuck but not in this situation. She doesn't know Veronica is hers and she doesn't know that I know what she did to her. Should I be mad at her? That I don't know. She's told me about her past...she lost her parents so she had nobody. Maybe she didn't have a way to even give Veronica to someone else because she didn't know anyone which is why she left her.
I'm honestly just thinking of positive reasons because I don't wanna look at Leah as a bad person.
Leah ended up taking Veronica with her to school while I went to work. She's wearing my clothes too. I'm too generous to people.
Throughout my day at work I kept thinking about too much. Flash backs from last night, thinking about how my future will be and how I'm going to face telling Leah. I wanna talk to her about every single detail. I'm just afraid to. She's so scared to tell me that she left a baby when she was younger so I'm scared to tell her that I know.

Leahs POV
I'm driving here in my car with Veronica in the back seat eating some gummy bears I bought for her. Jen keeps dodging my questions asking her why she's feeling the way she is. But she only texted me saying we can have dinner tonight. The three of us and her mom.
"Sweetie. Can I ask you something?" I ask Veronica
"Yeah" She says sweetly. "Is mommy okay? Has she been tired a lot lately?" I ask her. I know Jen told me not to put our business into Veronica's Head but I'm so curious and jen won't help. I'm being impatient.
"Mommy has been tired a lot I don't know why. She got mad at grandma the other day" she pouts. "Oh really? Hmm.."
"Can you tell my mommy not to be mad?" She asks. "I-oh yeah I'll do that" I said. "Because I don't like it" she says. "I know honey. I'll talk to her. I'm just trying to figure things out" I said.
"Where are we going?" She asks. "We're gonna go back to your house then we're gonna have dinner tonight with your grandma too" I said. "Ohhh Yay!" She says excitedly.

Later on as were sitting at our table in the restaurant outside, Jen slips on a jacket on Veronica since it was getting cold. Veronica just looked so cute playing with Jens hair, being in their own world.
"How was school today?" Jens mom asks me. "It was nice. Felt like a normal day. The kids are getting ready to graduate. Their caps and gowns are all ready."
"Oh yay! I hope you'll come to the graduation party after at Jennifer's house. It's like a little family gathering but mainly celebrating Veronica's graduation. A lot of us will be at the graduation too so be prepared to see and hear a lot of cheering for Ver" he mom tells me. I laugh and nod my head. "I know. Everyone loves Veronica and I'm sure it'll be an amazing celebration for her. I wasn't aware you guys were throwing a party because I never got invited till now"
"Oh. Jennifer never?.."
I shake my head and look at Jennifer. She looks at me for a second then looks back down at Veronica while playing with her. "I forgot" jen says. I hear her mom sigh. So I looked at her. I'm getting even more confused. Somethings up. But I don't wanna bring stuff up in front of Veronica.
We ordered our food which didn't take too long. But then Veronica had to use the restroom so Jennifer took her. Leaving me with her mom which was my chance to question her.
"Is jen okay?" I ask her then sipped my drink. "Mm..I don't know. She found something out earlier this week and I don't know how she's taking it." She says. "Oh..what did she find out? If you don't mind me asking."
"I'd rather her say it. I don't want her to get mad at me" she says.
"Now that scares me"
"Don't overthink it. It's just that she gets so mad whenever I tell people stuff before she gets to say what it is."
"Ohh Okay....well.. I've been trying to help her out. She won't tell me at all but I'll give her time. I'm not forcing it out of her but I'm just curious and worried. Even though we're broken up I still care for her as a friend"
"You two are not only friends. I don't understand why you two aren't back together" she tells me.
"I've told her many times it's cause I'm not ready for a kid." I said. "That doesn't mean you two should break up yet keep on messing around. I love you Leah but Jennifer is obsessed with you. She's weak. She'll go with any plan you put in front of her because she just wants you happy and she still wants you in her life. I've never seen her so into someone like that so I'm quite shocked that you two aren't together."
I sigh and shake my head. "It's complicating" I said.
She presses her lips and looks away.
Later, Veronica runs up to our table happily and takes a sip of her drink quickly.
"Thirsty?" I giggle while asking her. "Yeah" She says and smiles. I scrunch my nose at her. Then I look at Jen following behind and sitting on her chair.
"I'm starving. I hope they don't take long" she says.
"It depends what you ordered" I said. She looks at me. I couldn't tell what kind of look that was so I just shrugged my shoulders. She kind of rolls her eyes and looks away.
"What?" I asked her. "Nothing" She says. Then it gets quite at the table. I felt awkward but I shouldn't be. I don't know what's up. But it seems bad. I don't like seeing her like this. She tells me everything so I'm getting nervous. I hope it's something I could handle and help her feel better once she lets me know what's up.
