The next morning came quick, the light seeping through the curtains of the bedroom as the teenage couple woke up together still naked from the night before. Their arms and legs were tangled around each other, their foreheads leaning against one another as their breath fanned against the other's face. Their eyes were heavy with sleep, hair tangled on their faces and they were both tired after their evening yet neither cared one bit.
"Mornin' handsome..." Caitlin murmured groggily after opening her eyes, running a hand through his messy hair almost instinctively. He looked ever so handsome in the mornings- hair messy, green eyes wide, lopsided smile as he gazed over at her. It made her heart swell in her chest just looking at him- this boy loved her.
"Morning beautiful... you alright? Not... sore or anything?" Barry asked, gently caressing her cheek with two fingers.
"I'm fine, more than fine actually. Last night... well, last night was wonderful. I know you were worried but... well, I can't imagine it going much better. And with experience, we'll just get better and better... I can't wait already for later tonight" she replied softly, her fingers brushing his scalp.
"Me too" he blushed, turning a little pink.
"I love you so much, you know right. I'm so glad it was you, I wouldn't want anybody else to make love to me so... well, I'm glad you were the one, I'm glad I waited and I'm glad I let you take it" she smiled sweetly.
"I love you too... I'm glad it was me too and I'm also glad it was you. I was scared and I'm not sure there's another girl in the world who would've been able to get me to relax and... just be with you. I love you even more for that. I just want you to to know that" he replied, leaning in for their first kiss of the day.
After cuddling for a little while, the couple decided to get dressed and get breakfast with the rest of their group. They'd decided to go to the hot springs together to have some more alone time after breakfast so it seemed like breakfast was the best time to go see their friends knowing they'd want to know all about their first time.
The couple walked hand in hand down to the restaurant, practically glued together. They shared little smiles, glances and giggles the whole way down like their own private conversation that no one else could possibly understand. Their friends were already at the restaurant when they arrived but immediately ceased their conversations when they saw the couple approach. They watched the two teenagers intently as they went to the buffet table to get their food and sit at the table next to each other. They kept their fingers interlocked as they began to eat, sharing loving glances to each other, squeezing one another's hand, blushes and even the occasional giggle when their eyes met.
There was something in their gaze that the other's just couldn't place. Of course, they knew what had happened between the two of them the previous night and clearly that had gone well but somehow they seemed even more inseparable than before. Clearly, one night of passion had pushed them closer together than anyone could have predicted. What they were looking at right now was complete, unadulterated love and devotion.
When Barry got up to get seconds, the group saw their opportunity. The boys went after the food-seeking boy and the girls pounced on the girl dreamily sipping her drink.
"So... How was it?"
"Well... it was wonderful. He was so... romantic and loving and caring. He kept on checking on me to see that I was alright and... it was just perfect. I just... I know he's the one I want to be with, the only one I want to be with. It's him and it's always been him- I love him and... I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty sure he's the one" Caitlin gushed dreamily, her face lighting up bright pink as she recalled the experience.
