For the first time in what felt like forever, Caitlin had woken up on a Monday morning excited to go to school. She didn't have to wear her frumpy school uniform and instead could wear a summer dress that she knew Barry liked. He came to pick her up right on time, greeting her with a kiss as she climbed into the passenger seat next to him.

The school building itself wasn't nearly as fancy and pristine as Parkside but it was just as bustling and lively. The cars in the car park weren't nearly as expensive and there weren't many designer products being worn by students or even any posh idle chatter as they walked by students but in essence, the atmosphere of the school was much the same.

Barry less her to the school office to collect her timetable for the week though sadly she could not hold his hand in front of the teachers.

"Ah, you must be Miss Snow. Please take a seat so we can get you sorted out" the office worker said with a little too much enthusiasm as she motioned her to sit down with a beaming smile.

"Please call me Caitlin" the girl replied as she sat, catching a look her boyfriend was giving as he stood leaning against the doorway with a playful smile.

"Now, first of all, I hope Barry here will take good care of you. If you need anything, please go to him and hopefully he will look after you. I hope you have had a chance to acquaint yourselves with each other. He is one of our finest, after all, accepted to John Hopkins. But if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask any member of staff as they will be happy to help if he's not able or... not satisfactory" the office worker put her glasses back on to peer at her computer.

Caitlin shot him another look and shook her head at his goofy smile.

"Well, I'm sure he will be perfect. We did get a chance to become... better acquainted before we got here" she nodded, a smile on her face.

"Now, here is your timetable and a map of the school. Of course, Barry will be here to take you wherever you need or want to go but just in case. He will take you to every lesson, be there to escort you when a lesson finishes and eat with you at lunchtime. I hope he'll introduce you to his friends as well" the worker handed her the newly printed out pieces of paper after stapling them together.

"Thank you" Caitlin replied, standing up and grabbing her backpack off the floor where she left it when she sat down.

"I hope you enjoy your time here, Miss Snow" the worker smiled.

"Please, call me Caitlin" she responded before going to the door. The couple walked away and both burst out laughing as soon as they were far enough away from the office.  "Oh my God, it's going to be like that with everyone, isn't it?"

"I'm afraid so. They all want you to say nice things to your dad so they're all going to be on their best behaviour to impress you" Barry replied with a laugh.

"That wasn't what I wanted, I wanted to be treated like everyone else for a change" she sighed. "But hey, you'll treat me the same as always so at least I have that"

"You never know, I might start offering you a massage and a manicure and pedicure to make sure you really enjoy yourself" he joked, bumping his shoulder against his.

"I'll happily take the massage... Maybe you can give me one the next time you come over" she teased, feigning exaggerated flirt and allure.

"Only if you give me one too, that's only fair" he replied flirtatiously, leaning in dangerously close to her causing her to blush.

"I'll think about it..." she trailed off, biting her lower lip softly. "Where are we going now?" she asked as she followed him not realising until now that she hadn't actually asked where he was taking her.
