My story starts on July 15th, a couple of days after Jason Blossoms death. Things had been off in our quaint little town for weeks now, but every time I attempted to talk to Cheryl about my thoughts she brushed it off as nothing.

The day started out normal until I went to Pop's only to find Archie and his drag along buddies spread out in a booth. Of course they had been coming here, we all have since we were small children, but they were all hunched over in a booth whispering to each other. Narrowing my eyes I pull my cell phone out of jacket pocket snapping a photo and sending it to Cheryl. She quickly responds with "ON MY WAY, THE LITTLE WEIRDO'S AREN'T GETTING AWAY WITH ANY SECRETS ON OUR WATCH CHICA ;)" Shaking my head I slide my phone back into my pocket and walk up to the counter.

Ordering two strawberry milkshakes I take the booth two down from them. Sipping from my sugary drink I lean closer attempting to catch a word of their whispering voices. Betty's eyes meet mine for a split second before she dunks her head back down making Archie turn. Giving him a little wave with my fingers I lean back watching him flip back around quickly. Their voices drop even lower making my bottom lip stick out in a pout.

"Need some help finishing that milkshake princess?" a voice disrupts my childish behavior making my eyebrows furrow at Chuck Clayton, Moose, and Reggie Mantle. Leaning back I cross my legs under the table giving them a pointed look. "Wingus, dingus, Reggie." I nod to them each making Reggie snicker. "Aurora." Reggie gives a smile shoving his hands into his pockets nodding at me. "Oh, and just so you know, it's a hard pass from me, I can finish myself." I spit out giving an innocent smile at the end. Chuck bites his lip raking his eyes over me, "I'm sure you can baby." He smiles at his own response making me roll my eyes back into my skull. "Reggie get your friend." I huff being disgusted with him.

Reggie shakes his head laying a hand on Chucks shoulder. "Not cool man." Chuck scoffs looking at Reggie like he was ridiculous. "Oh please Reggie, don't act innocent now, you know you'd-" he starts before Cheryl shoves between them rolling her eyes. "Leave." She commands sliding into the booth. Moose grabs Chucks jacket dragging him away from our table making me grateful for the boy. Reggie rubs at the back of his neck making Cheryl raise a brow. "Scram." She waves her hands the boy making me pout once again. "Bye Reg." I bid the boy goodbye as he waves at me from the diner door.

Sliding her milkshake over she takes a sip glancing to the group behind us. "Heard anything?" She asks not making eye contact with me. "Nope, Betty Cooper noticed me." I pop the p leaning forward. Cheryl huffs standing. "We'll just go to them then." She grabs at my hand pulling me behind her until we were standing in front their table. Their eyes snap over to us, all leaning back casually. "Looks it's Mystery Incorporated." She smiles at the group. "What do you want Cheryl?" Veronica asks in her usual snappy tone. Cheryl squeezes at my hand, her smile growing in a stomach turning way.

"Actually, V, I was hoping you chumps would let us in your dirty little secrets." Cheryl says sweetly as she spits out Veronicas nickname. "What the hell are you guys on about?" Archie huffs looking between the two of us. "Oh, please. Don't act innocent Archie. We saw you guys whispering to one another like a bunch of anime school girls." Cheryl shrugs stating the truth.

This time Jughead speaks up pushing his beanie back. "Mind your own business Cheryl." He says calmly, like he usually would. "Yeah, just keep your snobby nose out of things for once." Veronica says crossing her arms. I step in front of Cheryl furrowing my eyebrows. "Listen here, and you listen close, I don't know who you think put you on the top but you better step the fuck down because guess what bitch you're the most snobby girl I know so you have absolutely no room to ever open your mouth about her." They all set back surprised. "Aurora-" Archie starts making me roll my eyes at the four.

Pulling Cheryl along we strut out of Pop's hand in hand. She smiles over to me bumping my shoulder. "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" I laugh throwing my head back. "Yeah Cher, all the time."
