Nightshade

Chapter 1

Corey's POV

Waking up to a constant blaring and a grumbling Russian was the last thing I had planned at this ungodly hour on a Sunday so I shove one of my pillows into Raven an grumble out "Please Raven turn the alarm clock off, I want to sleep"
Finally after shoving him again the sound turns off and I can go back so my happy dreams.

Wait

My mind go blank and after five seconds my mind process that it's Sunday at late evening and that we have the day off.
Flying up from the bed over Raven only to land on the floor with my legs tangled in the sheets I mutter some curses and in the process waking up the Russian and feel something cold pressing in the back of my head.

After calming Raven and untangling myself at the same time, I am out of breath I finally reach the computers that are blaring from the other side of the room.

In panic I fling myself in the black computer chair and try to locate what made the alarm go off.  My hair is all over the place and I'm trying to wake myself up so I can focus on what's happening only to find that someone is destroying my firewalls.

"Axel! Call Victor now and tell him it's code orange!" My scream echos in the silent apartment and I am only met with a grunt in respond.

Finally after 30 minutes of coding I manage to kick the person out of my system and at the same time I hear random patterns of knocks on the apartment door.

I hear Axel open the door and usher in Victor and at the same time calling and emergency family meeting.

Axel's POV

I am standing in the kitchen naked as the day I was born and making coffee only to be startled by an alarm going of in the apartment. I barley got enough time to pick up the coffee cup that I drop before Corey asks me to call Victor and inform him on a code orange.

Picking up the phone from the kitchen island and call Victor only to get a rushed 'be there in 20' before he hangs up in my ear. After the call I make my way into my bedroom to take a quick cold shower to get rid of my morning wood and then start throwing on some black jeans and a white T-shirt.

30 minutes later it knocks on the door and I open only to let a messy newly woken up Victor, he goes to the couch and sits down as the same time I call out "Family meeting in the living room, NOW!"

One by one we all fill in to the room. Marc is grumbling something about coffee as the same time Brandon is trying to stay awake. Raven sits beside a stressed Corey, when everyone finally sits I ask Corey " Why is Victor here and what is 'Code orange'?" My voice still Smokey from waking up.

"Someone hacked my computer and destroyed my firewalls" is the only thing Corey tells us as we all sit there shellshocked staring at him with wide eyes.

He starts fidgeting and blushes as he starts to explain what happen as we all stare at him from start to finish. Finally after the explaining and thirty seconds of silence "I need Victors help of locating the hacker, I tried but this person is good at covering their tracks" Corey explains in a quiet voice.

Both Corey and Victor take up their laptops and starts looking for this person as we all sit there in silence. After a few moments we all notice how Victor turns pale.

"Why are you looking so bleak?" Raven asks staring at Victor.

"Pale, Raven not bleak" Corey corrects

"Same" shrugs and look and Victor again.

"Corey, we may have a bigger problem than we originally thought" he starts out before just saying one word.
