Does Anyone Know What's Happening?

That Was Unexpected

     An alley was never a good place to be but they weren't really given a choice. it was the only way they were able to get where they wanted to go. Hagakure had a horrible feeling something was going to go wrong but left it unmentioned and continued to walk with her friends. The entire walk had been filled with chat from Hagakure, Mina and Kyoka but Momo was as quiet as ever, only ever joining in when necessary.

     "I wonder how Mr Aizawa's doing. He hasn't been in for days and barely ever talks on the chat! He hasn't typed or been online once today!" Hagakure babbled.

     "He was on last night to stop everyone from having an existential crisis over my quirk and stuff. But yeah he's barely around." Mina agreed, obvious concern in her voice.

     "It's just the stuff going on in his personal life I think. I hope everything's okay with him and Present Mic though." Momo joined, rubbing her arm, nervous as ever.

     "Same. Dad worries me. With all the shit going on it just..." Kyoka sighed, stopping mid-sentence

      A bang from down the alley behind them made all four girls jump. Hagakure knew she should have said something about that feeling in her gut. Maybe then this all could have been avoided. Heavy footsteps were all the frozen girls could hear. Then, in an instant, Kyoka felt someone holding a knife to her throat.

     "Any of you yell or scream I'll kill her. Got it?" All of them nodded and gulped. "Now. You three go away and don't say anything. She's the only one I want." The three girls the man was addressing didn't move at all. "Now." The man growled.

     "We're hero course students at UA and you think we're going to leave our friend to die?" Mina almost laughed. The man growled lowly at her.

     "I know who you are. I'm just giving you a warning. If I can break your teacher into pieces then I can easily do it to you."

     "It was you! You're the one who kidnapped Mr Aizawa!" Hagakure exclaimed in realisation.

     "Well, that just gives us more reasons to beat your ass!" Mina yelled at him, confidence and anger taking over her every action.

     There was silence.

     Only silence.

     Nobody dared to move or speak at that moment.

     Then, a very loud

CLUNK!

     Kyoka's captor fell to the ground unconscious. Kyoka moved and went to her friends. Momo hugged her tightly.

     "Hey..." That voice. They all knew it too well. Minoru Mineta.

     "Mineta! What are you doing here?!" Hagakure shouted at him defensively.

     "I was... Wandering around and heard someone yelling. I recognised you guys and... Acted accordingly." The small boy explained, dropping the metal piping he used to hit the villain over the head. "I'm sorry for what I said. About Mr Aizawa and that."

     "Are you?" Mina hissed, venom lacing her voice.

     "Let's call the police," Mineta said, ignoring Mina's comment.

     "You wanna know who saved me? Mineta." Kyoka told her family who all just looked slightly confused.

     "Grape bitch saved you? Really? HOW THE HELL?!" Fumikage yelled, wanting to be angry but just couldn't manage it.

     "He was probably spying on you or something. Being creepy." Shoto rolled his eyes as he made his point.

     "Still hit the guy over the head and knocked him out! I hate him but... I'm thankful y'know. If not for him I'd not be here for one reason or another." Kyoka told them

     "Yeah... Guess you can't get picky in a life or death situation." Aizawa smiled, shrugging.

      "Yes, dad is right on this one. I hate him but... He saved our sister's life so we can't really complain." Yuga interjected, not allowing his siblings to argue.

     Hizashi came over and nudged Aizawa who flinched a little before nodding. Hizashi waited and Aizawa gave Kyoka a hug before going to leave with Hizashi.

     "Dad... Can you... Stay at the dorms tonight?" Kyoka asked, grabbing onto Aizawa's sleeve.

     "Well... Sure..." He sighed, making Kyoka smile. "See you tomorrow Zashi... Love you..." Aizawa said to the blonde who rolled his eyes a bit.

     "Bye." He replied before leaving with a quick wave of his hand.

     "Are you okay dad?" Shoto asked, noticing Aizawa wasn't quite right.

     "Huh? Oh yeah... Just still kind of getting over the shock." He waved him off, wrapping his arms around Kyoka's shoulders

    

     "Who would have thought? Mineta getting in the way of something important as this. Why is this so difficult? Why does everything you do make this so difficult Shouta...?"
