"Ember? Ember can you hear me?" A voice echoed in Emebes mind.

Ember growned in pain, sitting up and reaching a hoof for the top of her head,
"don't touch that!!" A soft and whiny voice called out.
"Ow!!" Embar creamed out in confused pain, jolting her limb away after being met with a searing pain to her sculp.

"I told you not to touch it!" The voice whines again.

Ember opened her eyes and bwushed to see it was Melman!! It was dark out and he was wearing a bone around his nose and he was wearing rings on his neck! Very emo.. ember thought. Quite cute.. wait what?!?! He's not cute 😫!!
Ember shook his head, getting all the nasty boy thights out of her head.

"At the party, you got crushed pretty bad by teetsee, he was croad surfing but I guess things got out of heand.. then I took you back her and I've been watching- I mean monotoring you since then.." Lelman explained.

Embers ears perked up at him curiously, "watching me, all this time?"

He blushed and rubbed the back of his head with his hoof, "uh yeah.. well I am Africa's official doctor.. so I kind of have to.. n!! Not that I didn't want you to get better!!" Gosh Melman oanics a lot...... hehe..

Ember blushed hard and looked at her hoods blushing. "Thamk you for help me.."

Melnam chuckened And cocked his head to the side, "it's not problem."

"Do you live near here? I don't recommend walking too far, you have a pretty bad concushon." Melman asked concerned, looking closer at embers head injury, which was neatly wrapped in bandages, with her fringe poking out from the stop.

Ember looked at her surroundings, she knew her sleeping place was far from the lake she was just partying at, but she didn't even know where she was now. And she was never good at seeing in dark. She shook her head, "no.. I don't live near.."

"No worry. My place is just round corner, you can stay with me." Melman offed with a smile.

The emo blushed deeply, stay at a boys house?! How naughty... "i.. uh.. yes.. please.." she finally replied quietly. She guessed if she had to stay with anyone, melamb would be the least unbearable.. he seemed.. nice..just thinking about how nice melman was made Ember blush even more.

"Great. Let me just get a few more things and I'll assist you to my living quarturs." He said awkward.

A few minute past and melamb walked up to ember. She looked up at the giraffe and notice how tall he was compare to her. Well.. she was just about tall enough so she is a few foot above his broad shoulders. But it was still so tall!! Ember was mostly used to being the one to tower over everyone, and that everyone is just Disk.
Wait, ware is Dusk??
"Uhm.. excuse me Doctor melamb? Have you seen my frend Dusk? She's this stylish meerkat with long plack and pink hair?" Ember asked concern.
Melman hummed for a bit before speeking, "I think I saw her playing with Mort, don't think she saw you get hurt."

Ember gasp
"Oh noshes probbly worrued sik looking for me! We need to go back now-" she said turning around and starting to wibble away from ware melman was walking.
"Hang in hang on!! You're not helthy Enough to do that! Please just wait unful it is light out. I don't want you getting even more hurt." Melman commanded resting a hoov on embers sholder.

Ember blushed at him being concerned. And then sighed. "You are right. Sorry.."

Melman smiled warmly at ember, making every organ in her body flutter. Why was this feeling??

"Come once then." Melman said and began helping ember to his house.

His house was so tall!! It was made of leaves and bark mostly and was pretty coool. "Home sweet hone" melman said with a tired but content voise.
"Its not New York but it's a good alternate."

"Net York?" Ember lit up all curious n stuff.

"Uh, yeah. Me, Gloria, Alex and Martin are all from there. You know New York?" He ask

Bers ears shotbavk and she looked to the floor sad as she had flashbacks to her passed. "Uh, yeah a little.." she replyd after a while.
Garfield didn't notice her being sad.

"Uhm I'll go fet a blanket that you can lay on" melman said as he wondered off into a different room.

Ember looked around and saw lots of pictures and posters that he had gotten from perhap New York and from tourist. Her face lit up when she saw my chemical romance poster.
"You like my chemical romance?" Ember asked through the wall.
Melmam walkdd back into room with grey blanket and placed it on floor, "uh yeah. They're pretty neat."

Ember blushed, "me too.." they looked at each other blushing again before melamb looked away. "Uhm would you like any refreshments before ned? Some water?" He asked.

Ember shook her head, "no that you.. I've already filled up on mangos.." she laughed at the end bit becuase she thought it was so silly!xD

"Ok, well. Sleep tight. If you need anyting I'm in other room next." Melman smiled down at a now resting Ember, making her blush deeply again.

Before melman could shut his door however, he was called backward, "Melman wait-" ember spoke up,
Melman looked back at her curiously, widening his eyes as he waited for the cute emo to continued.

"I really appreciate the help.. really.. fhank you a lot.." Ember smiled at him.

He grinned, nodding his head, "no problem."

And then they both went to their repsected beds.

Ember layer her head down and let her eyes droop. All she could think about was Melman and her best friend Dusk.
