He spread his arms, tilting his head to a side and I paced quickly, looking at him. As I neared him, I placed my head on his shoulder and hugged him.

A feeling of familiarity, a feeling of security wrapped around me. After a bit too long, I restrained, looking at his grey orbs which were now a little dialated.
He placed his arm gently around my shoulder.

"How come my Lina is here?" He asked.

"Oh Zaan! You didn't tell me you were throwing a party today!" I said, looking around in awe.

"I called you up. Your phone was switched off. However, even if I dared to invite you, the queen wouldn't descend her throne and show mercy on this little child.." He said, pointing his finger on his chest.

"Oh shh! I wouldn't do such a thing!" I whined, slapping his shoulder.

"Oh yeah, your highness!" He said and chuckled.

I 'tched' and took another sip, my face still frowning with the stinking sweaty bodies around me and public show of affection.

None of us spoke for a few minutes. Shaking away my thoughts, my eyes widened when I actually felt my backpack.

"Zaan, SOS! We need to talk first."

He looked confused in the beginning but then straightened. Holding my hand, he took me to his backyard, clearing away the crowd for me to walk. His backyard looked deserted from his living room, maybe there was a 'no entry' to his backyard for partying kids.

"Tell me. What's up?" He asked, holding the railing to avoid falling back. I noticed he left his bottle somewhere in the house.

I looked around and inhaled deeply, placing my bottle on the ground and regretting instantly for polluting the super clean and beautiful backyard.

Stupid me!

It was a beautiful and a huge garden with lights lined up parallel to the fence. The path for walking was also beautiful, with lights lined up. A pool in the middle was another awe. The crystal clear water was an instant stress buster. The grass was trimmed perfectly and an urge to step out of my shoes and walk on them itched my feet.

We had a bigger garden than this, but it is always filled with people, mostly guards and their weapons, VIP's and Lorenzo's guests. I've never had a chance to sit back, stay calm and watch the sky. Like I never had any worries. Like I was happy and content.

Forget it. I'm sitting here for the whole night.

Or maybe not.

"I need your help Zaan." I finally spoke when he shook me, clearing away my cloud of thoughts.

"Go on, milady" he spoke, making me smile at his thick accent.

"I have a few papers. I want you to safeguard them until I ask u to give them back to me."

"Do you want to tell me about it?" He asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Sure, when time favours." I replied, smiling.

He took the papers from my hand and vanished, leaving me in his garden. The sound of crickets and faded music was heard, but I had already stepped into my dream. I closed my eyes and sucked in air sharply. Suddenly, like a vision, my eyes saw something.

He was taller than me, holding my arms close to his body. He had a masculine scent, a mix of his cologne and cigarettes. Although I hated the smell of cigarettes, this scent felt....good. I didn't know why. His grey orbs, they were like that of Zaan's, but somewhat different. A change I can't describe. His hair, slicked back in perfection. His arms were muscular and his proximity was affecting me. His lips-
