Soon, I entered my driveway. I read the clock and it said 5:30am. Stepping down, I picked up my stuff and walked in.

The garden was filled with men. The number was unusually large, I must say.

Will this garden ever be empty? Good lord, if I were Lorenzo, this garden would be empty on one command.

As if I actually come to this place to be annoyed, a pair of worried eyes is all I met.

"Where the hell were you, Lina?" Hugo half yelled on my face and I cringed. I could only roll my eyes at the expression he gave next and I replied coolly-

"Emily's. Sleepover." I said.
"And where's Kygo?" He asked, his voice laced with concern.
"He'll be here soon." I said.
"Get in, quick! Sir will be here in no time." He said, his hand on the small of my back urging me to move forward.

I was too tired to argue, so I quietly went inside, holding my stuff- the guy's shirt in particular.

Reaching my room, I kept cucciolo's shirt in my wardrobe. Picking up some fresh clothes, I entered the shower, determined to leave the bathroom only after an hour's relaxation.

-------------------------------------------
I inhaled deeply as the scent of vanilla hit my nostrils, laying in the bathtub. Memories of last night flashed my mind as I closed my eyes, completely drowned in the flavour.

My eyes were blurry and my mouth tasted sour. The car started making some noise. It came to a halt, soon. "Shit!" I cursed. I hopped out of the car, holding a bottle in my hand.

I stood there, my back leaning on the car door. After another sip, memories of Lorenzo and Ma flashed in front of my eyes. "Crash!!!" I flung the bottle to the ground and my fists balled. Turning around, I cursed the car for not starting.

I kicked the tyre in frustration. Twice. The third time, the drunk, despicable me lost balance and I fell backwards. My eyes closed involuntary but I didn't get hurt. My back hit a strong surface. But why didnt I feel any pain?

Suddenly, I inhaled a cologne and wow! It was breathtakingly amazing. A pair of strong muscular arms wrapped around my waist. Confused, I turned around just to meet the most beautiful grey orbs ever.

Pitch grey orbs whose pupils looked slightly dilated, lashes long enough to touch the high cheek bones, strong jawline, drool worthy beard and a firm look.

God! Save me!

Soon, all I could see was darkness.

--------------------------------------------

I blinked at the ceiling, lying on the bed for almost 20 minutes now. I was laying in the most comfortable (yet awkward) position ever, my legs in a 45° angle.

As if the silence before a storm, soon the cyclone entered my room, distracting me from my thoughts and comfort.

"Linah!" Cheryl cried, jumping on my stomach.
"Oww! My timmy-tummy!" I yelped, clutching my side in pain.

"Come let's play! Where were you all night? You know? I was scared. I wanted to come here and u were not there. Bad Lina.!" She pouted.

"I went to a party. Shshh! No telling anyone okay?" I mimicked her shsh.
"You bet! Pinky promise!" She yelled, laughing, holding her little finger with mine.

"Where's mama?" I asked her.
"She went out with grannah and dada. Hugo says they'll come in 1 hoo..hoo.."
"One hour?" I corrected, smiling.
"Yah!" She cried.

"Come let's play. Come on!" She pouted.
"Lina has work. You go play with Hugo. He is free now. Okay?" I said, convincing her that I'd buy her her favourite ice cream and lollies and take her for a ride in the evening.

----------------------------------------

Switching my position, I picked up the nearest notebook and pen. Flipping  to a fresh page, I opened the pen, it's cap in my mouth.

Let's write something.

I started penning down everything that crossed my mind.

Failing, sinking, blurry vision....
I striked that away.

After a lot of striking and messing the page, I flipped to another fresh page and wrote from the groundwork I previously did.

Running up the stairs, wiping a tear,
She stood on the wall, shaking with fear.
Water blinding her vision, nothing seemed clear,
Next second in this arms, his heartbeat was all she could hear.

Head buried in his chest, wetting his torso,
Strong arms around her wrapped, keeping away the cold.
Smooth fingers on her back, drawing circles,
Calming her breathing, bringing back senses.

There stood she, still at loss of words
Lips trembling, struggling with speech.
His hands slowly cupped her face and hair,
Looking into her, he said "Relax, I'm there".
