The warm sun bathed the city, a light breeze caused the white mask tails of a certain female turtle to flutter ever so slightly...her crystal eyes sparkled in the warm rays of the glowing gas ball in the sky as she over looked the world.
Kat was standing on top of a old radio tower that was basically in the center of New York City, she watched as people on the streets walked on the side walks and as cars would zoom by. The occasional car horn would echo somewhere off in the distance signaling that someone couldn't drive, some honking was followed by the driver throwing up their hands or flipping someone else off.
The white masked mutant chuckled slightly at the humans' antics for she found them to be so stupid, but she couldn't help but feel a longing to be able to experience those same antics no matter how pointless they seemed...she wanted to be excepted into society with the other mutants and not he viewed as a freak or trophy.
Sighing heavily the female turtle began to climb down the tower, she had seen all that she wanted...once in the rooftop she took off running. She moved quickly not caring if the humans below saw her because she knew their eyes would only see a blur, she only slowed down when she felt a familiar presence fill her senses.
Her crystal eyes caught a small glimmer of light off to her left and before she could register what it was she felt a searing pain shoots through her leg causing her to lose her balance. The mutant female stumbled into a roll before flipping back onto her feet to glare at her attackers, blood poured from the new bullet wound in her leg but she paid no mind to it.
Meanwhile in the lair:
Leo and how brothers had long since finished their breakfast and were currently searching high and low for a certain female, their search had just reached the panic stage for they hadn't found a single hint of where Katharine could have gone.
Donnie popped out of the storage room he had been searching and ran to his lab, he flung open his laptop and started violently typing...his brothers filed in after him confused by his actions. The purple clad brainiac continued to type away until he found what he was looking for, when he did he let out a soft "ah ha" and turned his laptop to face his brothers.
On the screen was a blinking red don't on a map, his tone showed that he was proud of himself as he spoke, "I found her, she's on a rooftop just north of 5th and 6th." The younger middle turtle saw that his multicolor clad brothers were confused so he continued to elaborate, "I placed a tracker on her...actually I have one on all of you for this very reason, just forgot I had activated hers."
Raph was about to explode but the eldest mutant stopped him and in his leader voice told them to follow him, and so they set out for the white banded female.
Back on the rooftop with Kat:
She was injured and bodies were piling up around her as she found hard, she recognized the gang markings the members each bore and immediately knew why they were here. The three gangs were the Black Doves, Titans, and Crocs...these were the three gangs that sat directly above the Diablos and under whoever was pulling the strings.
She let her katanas fly as she cut down the men, soon enough the Black Doves were down completely since they weren't that big of a gang...the only real power they held was drug cartels they weren't really strong.
The white masked female was about to cut down a Titan but a throwing knife embedded itself in the guys skull before she could decapitate him, her sharp crystal eyes shot over to the source of the knife and they locked with a familiar sapphire.
A smile broke out across her face as Leo joined the battle, his eyes told her he was upset that she left without a word but also that he was worried...neither said anything as they continued to fight.
