A/n- I'm sorry I haven't been updating lately I haven't had the chance to.
Your pov
I was walking back home, basket in clutch as I started to think.
Damn.. I really need to get some money. Link is going to get annoyed if I don't pay for rent soon and the meet up I had planned with Zelda is coming up soon. It's not like I haven't been trying to get some work though, I've applied for numerous jobs over the last couple of weeks; none of which have accepted me.
I sighed.
"I mean, Ghirahim did offer me a job that apparently pays well but it isn't exactly professional of him to ask a friend to work for him. Where's all the paperwork? Actually maybe if I speak to him about it we can form some kind of contract.. well I mean that's only if I get desperate."
I arrived at the familiar wooden door of my house when I saw an envelope on the floor.
To miss L/n.
"Maybe it's from that waitressing job I applied for!" I gleamed.
And yes it was indeed a letter from the restaurant I applied for.
After reading the first 4 lines, however, my smile quickly disappeared and I put the letter back inside the envelope.
"You know what, maybe I should go and see Ghirahim." I stated, awkwardly.
I peered over at the house that stood next to my own and quickly realised that I hadn't properly inspected the house before. Black and red roses laced the perimeter of the house, the thorns looking more menacing than any other plant I had ever seen before, but yet strangely elegant.
Glancing at the window, I could see a familiar face. Ghirahim. Quickly, my glance was returned with a sweet smile by the man next door.
I returned the smile and before long, Ghirahim had come outside to greet me.
"Hey Ghirahim, I've been thinking about your offer. I do hope it still stands?"
"Ah, but of course, my lady," He bowed and kissed my hand, looking up into my eyes he continued," would you like to discuss details?"
I giggled and nodded my head. Ghirahim lead me inside with a smirk and brought me a cup of tea.
"So, what days are you able to come over on?"
We continued the discussion for an hour before coming to an agreement. Monday's, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and sundays; 10am to 1pm. £20/h.
God, he must be rich paying me that much for such a simple job, not that I'm complaining though. He even let me pick my hours! I might just stay in this job forever if it pays this well!
I left the house with a euphoric feeling.
"I can't wait to get to work!" I shouted before skipping next door to my own house.
Ghirahim's pov
After our conversation, the girl left with a large smile on her face. Rightfully so, I know I may be paying too much for such a simple job but I want- no need to see her as much as possible. She's just so- so- nevermind. I can't even put my feelings into words at this point. But I will have her. I need to.
I got up from my seat and lingered around the area where y/n was previously sat. Her sweet, sweet aroma still lingered.
"Oh y/n.."
I sighed.

"y/n!!!" I heard Link shout.
He suddenly appeared in front of me and gripped me by the shoulders, staring into my soul.
"Okay don't freak out but I just found out who our new next door neighbour is!! It's that demon, Ghirahim!" He shouted.
Ah I should have probably told him that I kept going out to places with him and that I now work for him, but how do I just tell him??
"Haha..y-you see I already know...?" I whispered the last part," um..I kind of uhh how do I put this..?"
Link gave me a confused yet intrigued look.
"IkindofmetupwithhimabunchandheofferedmeajobwhichpayswellsoItookitandnowIworkforhim?"
"You what?!" Link gripped my arms harder before clutching his head.
"Y/n, you do remember what he did to you, right!?"
I brushed my fingers against my lips, recalling the events of last month's fiasco.
"I think he's changed though! He's a nice person now if you jus-"
"People don't change, y/n. You're being naïve."
"Well you're being stubborn, if you met up with him you would kno-"
"Y/n! I'm being serious! He's up to no good, I know it!" Link yelled.
I can't handle all this.
I death glared Link, turned around and silently left the house.
Great now what? There's no way I'm going back inside now. It's dangerous out here at night though. I should find shelter, maybe zelda will be willing to let me stay the night?
-insert rain noises-
"Great, just great!" I yelled in annoyance before running next door under the little shelter above the front door.
As I was catching my breath, however, the door behind me opened and I fell backwards into a pair of strong arms.
"Y/n?" Ghirahim looked down at me in confusion.
My face instantly turned red as I processed the situation.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I shouted and stood up speedily.
"Haha, don't worry about it," Ghirahim scanned me from head to toe," you're wet! [;)] oh do come inside, honey!"
Ghirahim rushed me inside and gave me a snuggly diamond shaped blanket and a mug full of hot chocolate.
"Oh honey, won't you tell me why you're out in the rain at this hour?"
I glanced down in guilt.
It would hurt to tell him would it? I mean obviously I can't tell him the details but I guess I can give him a rough idea, seeing as I'm in his house in his hospitality.
"Link and I got into a fight and I stormed away without a clue as to where I could go."
"Well you're welcome to stay here for the night."
"Really!? You're the best!"
I leapt up and hugged him, clearly catching him by surprise. At first he was tense but he eased after a few seconds.
