Chapter 19

Narrator

Link had spent many hours studying the book he had bought at the cute little bookshop. He worked all through the night and tried to make sense of anything that was written. Finally, after slaving away for what felt like years he managed to understand the passage inscribed in the book. He had found y/n's sat back home or so he hoped.

Links pov

Oh my Hylia! I've finally figured it out! I need to get her to a sacred body of water and cast a spell. Sounds dodgy but I've seen how desperate y/n is to get back...I wonder what it's like where she's from..

I groaned and stretched in my chair then glanced out the window.

Sunrise.

"Shit.." I pondered what to do now," guess I'll make some breakfast."

I got up and started making myself some porridge until I heard faint footsteps behind me.

"Goodmorning, y/n." I turned around and saw her.

Wow she looks--

She rubbed her eyes adorably and grunted in response.

Cute.

I smiled to myself

Ghirahim's pov

I've been watching y/n for a while now.. I can't believe she trusted that idiot! Now she's going to be taken away from me again! I tried to be nice but I can't stand it anymore! Why do people keep on interfering with my love??

I stomped my feet.

"Looks like that child has figured it out.. it's only a matter of time before they decide to perform the ritual.. I need to take back what's mine but if the skychild notices he surely won't let me get away with it.."

I walked over to the kitchen to brew some tea.

"I'm sure I'll think of something, I am a genius after all."

Your pov

I sat down at the table and Link brought me some delicious breakfast as per usual.

Gosh he's too good to me..

"Y/n, you remember yesterday? Well I found what we were looking for! Look here."

He's right I had completely forgotten about yesterday! Does this mean I can get home?

I looked down at the page Link was pointing to.

He's right there is a way to get back! Oh thank god..

"What do you say, y/n?" Link nudged me.

"But we don't have a 'sacred body of water'."

Link put his hand on my shoulder gently.

"Y/n.. we will get you home, have faith in us."

Unable to remain doubtful after his speech, I nodded my head and he pulled me into a hug.

He's a good hugger~

A few moments passed and we pulled away.

"Hey link, do you think granny might know something about sacred water? I've seen a few religious books and stuff in her house before maybe it has something to do with that?" I suggested.

"Hmm.. maybe we can always ask her about it."
