Your pov

I slowly opened my eyes to the sight of both Zelda and Link inches away from my face. Staring.

"She's awake!" Zelda shouted.

"Shhh She just woke up ,give her some space," link hushed," ah! I'll get you a meal, can you stand?"

I just woke up, give me a minute...

I nodded, sleepily.

Then I slipped out of bed and fell straight on my face.

Alright then maybe not.

Zelda rushed to help me up. She then supported me as we walked to the table in the centre room of the house.

"I'm assuming you want to have a shower?" Link hummed from the kitchen.

I nodded, sheepishly.

"Maybe Zelda could help you?you know, seeing as you can barely stand at the moment." Link walked over to the table with a giant pot in his hands.

I nodded yet again.

God this is going to be embarrassing. Having someone I barely know bathe me-ugh ,end. me.

Link sat down the giant pot in the centre of the table and started serving our portions.

"Don't worry, y/n. I know it's probably embarrassing but I really don't mind." Smiled Zelda.

I looked away.

I mean it is just us girls so it should be fine, right?

We all dag into Link's meal, it was really nostalgic to me for some reason, it reminded me of when I used to go camping every summer, which then reminded me of all the fun times I used to have with my family.

"I'll run the bath!" Zelda hurriedly said after finishing her plate.

I felt something wet slowly roll down my cheek.

Tears.

"Y/n! What's wrong?" Link practically choked on his food.

"I-I just...my family they- I miss them and I don't know what to do about it. What if I never see them again??" I started sobbing hysterically.

"Y/n," he came over to me and held my hands, looking me in the eye," I promise you I will find your family and return you to your home, but please don't cry. You are welcome to live here, with me until we do find them."

I gave him a sad smile.

I'm lucky he's so generous.

Two month time skip:

Just after y/n and Link returned, Link set out to avenge y/n as she was very mentally and physically scarred. He returned shortly after he left as he was injured and decided it was best to protect y/n instead of avenge her.

Over the past couple of months, y/n had been waking up in her sleep, screaming that she had seen 'him' and that 'he' was coming for her. After a few days, Zelda started to get concerned and went to go and see the old lady whom helped take y/n in when she first returned.

"Did that boy give you the pendant?" The old lady asked.

I was currently at the old woman's house. She had apparently taken care of me when I first escaped that hell hole and I now do therapy sessions and stuff with her.
