I need to stop leaving long messages but just wanted to let you all know I was probably going to add the aforementioned story separately from Unfinished Stories and Ideas. I'll probably add it as soon as I work out the last kinks.

-Jane-

"We need help," Skylar said, sliding in beside the dark figure. We all filled into the booth around them.

"Well it better be important if you interrupt my late night drinking," Olive retorted bluntly.

"Ooh can I join?" Steph asked, so I hit her. "Ow, hey!"

"Stay focused," I whispered.

"It is important," Skylar explained.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got that. But what is it you need?" Olive muttered, taking another deep drink from her mug.

"We need you to help us find something," Skylar added.

"Oh my god just tell me before I completely lose interest. I'll have them kick you out," she threatened.

Skylar glanced around before leaning in closely and whispering, "We have a map that can lead us to the relic."

"Oh how amazing," Olive said sarcastically, waving her hand about.

"You don't believe us?"

"Oh no, I didn't say that. I just don't care."

"What will it take to get you interested?"

"Depends," Olive said, contorting her face. "What do you got to offer?"

"I, uhh..."

"Gold!" I suddenly said.

"Wait what?" Skylar murmured, looking to me.

"Oh there's lots of it," I continued, nodding slowly.

"How much would be mine?" she asked, swirling her drink.

"All of it- if you help."

"Of course, you have piqued my interest," Olive said, setting down her mug.

"That settles it then," I finished, smiling and clapping my hands.

"Hold up. How much?"

"How much what?"

"Gosh I was hoping for dirt-- the gold stupid!"

"Uh..." I stalled.

"A hundred grams!" Steph interjected.

"What?" Skylar and I mumbled.

"I like where this is going... but if you are somehow lying to me, I will kill you," Olive said lightly, a sharp edge deep in her voice.

"Got it," Steph said.

"Let's go then," Olive said, standing up and finishing off her drink.

Everyone else got up and we all headed for the exit. Once outside, Skylar pulled me aside by the arm to where the others could not hear.

"What were you thinking?" she asked in an accusatory whisper.

"I'm sorry, I panicked. I mean, it worked," I answered quietly.

"We don't have that much!" she exclaimed in a hush.

"Steph was the one who said we had that much!" I defended.

"She said if we don't have it, she'll kill us. That is not an empty threat!"

"Trust me, I know Olive."
