"nuh uh, you're drunk!" you giggle into peter as he slunk his arm around you. he hoisted you up bridal style and clobbered down the steps, making sure your head was supported and that you weren't hitting any walls.
it had been a crazy night, one that you could find in any stereotypical teen movie. a loud house party with cluttered cups and heart thumping music, closed bedroom doors and drunken couples intertwining their mouths together in a sloppy dance. you had approached peter earlier that week with a smile on your face and a hope to get him to go.
"let's go! we need to celebrate finals." you exclaimed. peter scowled. "peterrr."
"parties aren't really my thing." he shrugged. you pouted before wrapping an arm around him.
"let's go spiderboy. i promise it'll be a good time." you smiled, poking his face. "plus... i kinda wanna see you drunk." he rolled his eyes before cracking a smile at your playfulness.
"i don't drink, but fine. let's go."
and here you were, shit-faced, as your boyfriend carried you out of the bustling house. the party had dispersed a while ago, but you and peter still actively partied up until you passed out on the couch. he didn't drink or anything too crazy, but he enjoyed watching you let loose.
that was enough for him.
"no, you're definitely drunk." he replied as he carried you out into the cold night. "if you weren't, i wouldn't be carrying you."
"sure sure." you giggled helplessly. you slowly opened your eyes and saw peters chiseled face close to your own. your head was spinning, but you couldn't take your eyes off of him. "you are sooo pretty, peter." you slurred. "so pretty."
he smiled and let out an airy laugh. "i could get used to drunk you."
you giggled and playfully punched his chest. he made a joking shocked face, pretending to be offended.
"oh well now you're in trouble." he smirked. you let out a playful shriek as he lugged you over his shoulder, your hair falling in front of your face and endless giggles escaping your mouth. you playfully punched his back, ordering him to put you down.
"nope. i captured the bad guy tonight!" he smiled.
"i swear to god peter i will tell everyone you're that spider person." you slurred. he laughed and smacked your ass, letting a surprised gasp escape your lips.
he carried you home, laughing all the way through. he was able to carry you up to your apartment window, gently placing you on your unmade bed. he undressed you and slipped his shirt on your small frame, tying your hair back and bringing your desk trashcan on your bedside. you fell asleep with his arms around you, not worrying about tomorrow's hangover.
he was gentle, strong, and goofy. everything you ever wanted.
