chapter 11, punishment

alessios pov: she finally agreed to go to lunch with me so i met her and we had a great day and she even saved a kid but then someone asked for a picture and then after she went all crazy and flicked them of so we got in a little fight and i got her super pissed off and she punched me in the face which hurt like hell. I ran after her and she pushed me up against the wall which made me feel different like um i don't want to be honest but turned on i thought of it for a second and then i snapped back to reality and she stole my keys! i chases after her but damn she was so fast, she seemed to surprise me in every way. She was brave, strong, sweet, smart, funny, beautiful, and outgoing and i  just walked around waiting for her to come back but she never did and i started to miss her rude come backs and judgy looks. so i called the cops to get her found right away and they tried to press charges but i told them i dare'd her and she went along with me but the cop told her to shut up and she rolled her eyes and that made me smirk, he said my last name and her mouth flew open shit i didn't tell her, finally we left and she flicked the cop off and said "haha sucker, i'm free bitch!" i ran after her and she yelled at me for not telling her and then we went to olive garden and i joked calling her babe and it made her upset and then she told me abt how she missed her sister so i thought we could see them but apparently they died and she was about to tell me why when someone called her and she screamed. Emma what's wrong i said she started to mumble "it's... my.. dad.." i was confused what's wrong with that and then she put her phone down and she told me how it all started. "It was the night before my 8th birthday and i told my mom how excited i was and apparently they forgot which now doesn't surprise me, so my mom and sister went out to get me stuff and apparently there was a robbery at the store they went to and my mom didn't have any money to give them cause she spent the rest she had on my birthday cause they forgot so she felt bad and he shot my mom right in front of my sister and she ran and then she got home and told us and they came to our house and we all hid but they found my sister and dad hiding together and they beat the shit out of my dad and they thought he was dead so they shot my sister right in front of me but they didn't know i was there and they left. after my dad got better he would beat me every night at exactly 10 cause that's when i told my mom but i didn't know i was 8, he blamed it on me made me feel like shit and he would make me work non stop all day so he could get drunk and high at night. Kids made fun of me cause i had marks all over me i had to tell everyone it was a decease and they believed it." i froze she had the worst child hood and i treated her like shit and i felt so bad so i said i'm so sorry emma but he won't hurt you anymore i will protect you at all cost, don't worry he will never lay a finger on you again, also i have a question "what?" isn't the wood family rich?
