Volume 2 : Chapter 6

At the Welcoming Party

Five Gods are seated and forming one cirlce and facing each other, away from other Gods and not enough to heard by the former. They are the Guest of Honor in this welcoming Party, Artemis. Loki, Freya, Ganeisha and Hestia.

"Oi~ why is this little shrimp here~!? Loki half-jested and half-serious at the same time and look at Hestia's chest and feel like vomiting as it wiggle even in her minimal movements

"Artemis is a friend of mine! thats why I'm here, flat Goddess-kun" Hestia sneer

"Urgh! You dipsh*t! I am Loki the Trickster! and also not a -kun!" Her joke backfired as she turned to heat

Seeing this lively scene, Freya covered her mouth while Ganeisha asks the guest of honor.. "is there an important to take note? Artemis-san?" whilst Artemis nodded.. saying the word, four Gods turned to serenity. Not not that.

"Would you.. mind to repeat that?" Loki asks again and almost stutter, she, wanted to confirm of what her ears picked weren't an illusion.

"God Eater.. is what the monster called Anteres' alias and my Familia confirmed it. a monster that can eat Gods" the whole area shook as four Gods freaked out for the second time

'This is more problematic than Violas' Loki thought and scratching her head.

'Artemis, if she has to be eatenen, then..' Hestia thought and look at her friend.

"And? I was wondering what happened next.", Freya nonchalantly questioned with full of curiousity.

"Though a threat. Its already been killed by Zetta. my sole male member", hearing her words, the Gods are in awe.

She continued, "He said he was lucky enough to kill Antares who haven't yet to expose from God's power"

"T..then.. if he isn't there.. you surely.." Hestia stuttered

"Yes, sooner or later, the world will be destroyed" Artemis continued what Hestia was about to say. she wassurely eaten if Zetta isn't there. and the Antares will use her Power to unleash her ultimate weapon that can kill even Gods. and so, the world will perish thereafter.

"Or if he didn't finish it right there. It might run havoc and continue to eat Gods power" Loki added her remarks.

"I, Ganeisha will give that boy his credits! Ganeisha is very happy my friend played it safe and someday help to stir Orario!" Ganiesha merrily commented

"W...what do you mean. Ganeisha!?" the naive Hestia asks but Freya stands up "...I should go then". Loki then followed, "I now approve on your favour. But this is your first and last.." as she look at Artemis whilst the latter nod with smile and thanking her "..Oi freak! wait for me!" and the trickster followed the beauty. "Geneisha is going too" Ganeisha too, exited seconds later.

meanwhile..

"Oi.. you think what Ganeisha said is all true? you think her Familia will soon emerge?" Loki asks Freya as they walking outside

"Who knows.. fufufu.. God Eater.. I wonder how beautiful that thing was" when they came out of the Party Hall, Freya look up in the sky and walk towards her carriage as Allen Frome fetch her. Loki at the same time look at the God of beauty's carriage with clicking tounge 'd*mn that witch. I don't know what is she thinking anymore'. As she still freshly remember the convo between her and Freya just a moments ago. she then returned back on her Familia Mansion while the party are still continuing

For the Nth time of clashing, Ais continue to press the attack Zetta, but no matter what she did. He always parried her attacks, the recieving and at the same time are sweating cold-. and unlike his battle against Finn. his battle control alleviated to a whole new level. "So, he really is a left-handed" Finn commented as two sword clashes, "but that shield. theres no way thats on his back the whole time during our battle, right?" hearing him. Riveria commented "Adventurers have their secrets or two.. an ironrule is not to pry it without the consent of the former" Tina and Tione and at the same time, flinched by her words and look at each other. afterall, they too has their own secrets.

<Tempest> Ais then covered by light green and wind-like aura that dance around her body and sword, Ariel is what this magic's name. her speed at this time, doubled.

KWANG--!

Zetta blocked her attack but this decision was his fall. Or so Ais thought. He blew off like a cannonball parallel to the ground. and at the same time, Ais blinked in front of the former while in mid-air

SWISH- Ais missed her slash as Zetta teleported from her back and used <Stomp>. Ais body hammered unto the ground and spiderweb crater spreaded and her body as its center

" "Amazing!" " Tiona and Tione are mouthshockex. Lifeya on the other hand, are worried about her cursh, Ais.

"He made his disadvantage into his advantage" Finn commented and sneer. He's very sharp, Zetta actually knew he blew off with Ais skill as she already caster <Tempest> for the second time and knew her acceleration speed are topnotched during activation. but an acceleration mid-air and the break didn't exists.

So, as he blew off. He knew he won the moment Ais cut him in mid-air. and at the same time, the battle concluded as Zetta's sword pointed at the middle of Ais' backhead.

"So this is the power of Artemis Familia" Finn smile for who knows hpw many times by now, he who was amazed than the last time blood boils just looking at Zetta, so thats why. "..different style of fighting Adventurers and monsters, amazing indeed" he remembered this Guy who has unpredictable fighting style. as if he was adapted on fighting while using skills in many occasions. and because of this that Finn enlightened and was actually break out from his shell.

Riveria and other girls moved towards Ais and heal the Kenki. Zetta hefted her and apologize. "Unpredictable" Ais muttered which Zetta scratch his cheek. Ais now knew she was baited and was now enlightened and break out of her shell too. "Is it possible to train with you once we return outside?" she ask

"I'm sorry. But I will endulge myself inside the dungeon for the next few months. You can only see me my shadow inside the dungeon"

"Then, can I accompany you? I'm sure might learn more about your fighting style" as she was adamant to learn more.

Scratching his cheek, he said "uhm.. its not my rule but.. I don't think I get any advantage of that"

Finn, then followed up of what he meant, "you, going with him means you're only a hindrance while you wanna learn from him. as for the person in question. He didn't get any advantage from that. One of the Adventurers rule is to give and take afterall. What he wanted to say is. what can you give in return?" Hearing him made Ais thinking. 'this girl, is a headstrong. Is she wanted to learn that bad?' Zetta thought as he knew she isn't thinking to give up but instead thinking of what she can give. and so he hastly walked away from the party saying his Goodbye, afraid of this Kenki's determination. But not even 10 meters away from them-

GRRRRRROWL---!

The entire 18th floor shook and cracks created at the ground near the party. Thereafter, a hand came out of that crack. Dark hand and five pointy fingers. As half of its body emerged, its face is like that of a shark and its body is consists of dark and oily muscles. As it emerged completely, it has two tails and a reverse leg like that of a four legged animals. A monster specialize in speed. in addition to its 3 meters in height.

"Ais inform Gareth and let not the others know!" Watching the thing from emergeance, Finn commanded Ais and the latter immediately flew off towards the camp before 'it' completely emerged

"Thats.." Tiona and Tione stuttered

"..a Jaggernaut!" Lefiya trembled in fear.

"Not just your run-in-a-mill Jaggernaut" Finn readied his spear.
