Hotch's POV
*gunshot*
That noise made countless memories fall through a barrier that was meant to hold forever. My body shook and trembled as the rain kept falling and breaking through me. Each raindrop that hit opened up another door behind that shattered wall.
Drip.
Her smile, laced with pearls and shone with angel's light.
Drip.
Her laugh, that never failed to ring like wedding bells throughout the house.
Drip.
Her voice dripped hate and disappointment, her tone raised.
Drip.
"I'm sorry I'm done with you, Aaron Hotchner."

"He needs to know that you weren't always so serious, Aaron."
Drip.
"I want him to believe in love because it is the most important thing."

My heart seemed to pull pack on the rains but my brain and reflexes pulled forward much stronger and my legs moved robotically as I ran from the shed. I was ... feeling things. Drip.

Over my dead body.
I turned around and bolted down the hill.

I know this is hardly an update and I know its been too long since I've updated but I've discovered that Wattpad hasn't been a priority to me lately. I know that I will finish this book when I can and maybe write a couple more imagines, but this might be it for a while at least. Stay tuned though!
Until next time,
