I began walking home from David's house, after the whole day of us working on our math homework. I took the pathway towards the woods where the cool breeze brushed through my hair and my skin. I pushed my round glasses back up so it wouldn't fall off again. Then suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a blue light breaking through the trees. Curious, I ran over to check it out, only to find that not only a blue light shortly disappeared, but there was a girl lying down on the grass, passed out. Worried, I ran up to the sleeping girl and shook her.
"Hey, hey wake up." I spoke, trying to get her to wake up. I breathed, wondering what to do? Luckily my mom was at a party and wouldn't be back tomorrow morning, also bringing along my baby brother and my father was working night shift. Then, a thought came up. I picked her up and walked towards home. I couldn't leave her here. Luckily, I made it back to the house and I manage to open the front door. Locking the door, I made my way upstairs and placed the girl on my bed. Surprisingly, she was pretty light for a girl her age, I assume she's 11 or 12. I can't tell for sure. Her faced looked flushed and it looked like she'd been crying. What happened to her? I felt bad and I figured she'd been through so much. The pain and suffering. When she wakes up, I'll have to tell her what happened and that whatever happened, she was safe. Who knows who her family is and where she lived. She looked high class almost. I began to wondered if she ran away from her home life to get away. Who knows, she needs rest. In the meantime, I gathered my thoughts together wondering what I should do to hide from my family. They'll be asking questions soon, but I don't want to freak them out.
