I began waking up, this time, after a fun exciting dream of me, running away from my home with Wilbert, Rachel, Jess, Corey, and the other gang and we stood away on a train to god knows where and I was happy. I got up from my bed, looked out the window, realizing that it was morning and it looked fairly late as usual for some reason. Well that's because it was fairly late. I looked at the clock and it was 9:00.
"Samantha! Oh good! You awake! Come on! The rest are going to come about one minute." Wilbert walked in the room with a toothbrush in his mouth.
"Sherioushly?!" I said in alarmed. I got one of my clothes and started to get dressed. I scrammed on downstairs and burst the door open. Just in the nick of time, there was a car pulling up and there were one of Jess's siblings.
"Hop on in, losers." The female sibling, Amy was her name, as she spoke sarcastically. I chuckled while saying rude, and I got on. Jess was in the back seat, so I sat next to her in the middle seat, while Wilbert sat next to me. The car started to drive off, speeding.
"Glad you came just in time. Nathaniel woke me up saying that we had to leave." Jess spoke up.
"Sho are Rachel and zhe othersh coming?" I asked.
"Yeah- well, only Corey, Rachel, Steve, Simon and Fiona are. The other boys are grounded." Jess replied.
"Figures." I murmured.
"Good thing I got my Polaroid when I need it. I need to get it repaired." Wilbert brought out the broken camera and boy was it messed up.
"Oh mein gott. Vhat have jou done to it?" I asked, with a hint of laughter and snorting.
"He smashed it." Jess jokingly replied while smirking.
"I tripped on a concrete rock and smashed it. I didn't want my glasses to break." Wilbert explained.
"Well you should've. You do realize how much it costs for your camera to be repaired?" Jess asks.
"I don't care. I'd rather have it smashed then to go blind till I get new glasses." Wilbert replies.
"Samantha, how are you feeling? With the whole situation that went down yesterday?" Jess asks in a whisper tone.
"I'm fine, the nightmares and leaving mein dimension and all, but I'm still vorried about that message." I replied back, whispering.
"Yeah. I'm starting to getting the creeps too. What do you think we should do?" Jess questions.
"For now, ve'll be more alert. If vhat he says is true, zhen ve need to be prepared." I explained.
"So, does he have an army of zombies or is he gonna face us?" Jess asked.
"He'll mosht likely be a pusshy to fashe ush. Sho I asshume he hash a whole army of zhe undead." I replied. Jess nodded and we became quiet. The whole time, while Jess's sister Amy was driving, we talked about the mall and Raleigh and what I was going to expect went we get there. About five minutes later, I saw the big city and boy it was huge. There were buildings that looked as if they almost touched the skies. And I saw that there was a lot of traffic. We manage to park in the front row of the malland we stepped out. There was a lot of people coming in and out of the front doors and I was then suddenly jumped and someone blocked my eyes with their hands.
"Vhat?! Who?! Vha-"
"Hey, chill. It's just Rach and Fio." Jess casually reassuring me.
"Sorry about coming up behind you like this, but we didn't want you to see the inside just yet, until we get inside there. That is." I heard Rachel's voice from behind. I obviously knew her hands were on my face. We carefully made our way and I felt a cool breeze.
"And....open." I heard Jess, and Rachel's hands removed my face and I saw the beauty that was inside of the mall. My mouth agape and I stared at the infinite sky that was covered by a dome shaped glass and there were escalators going up and down in different sections. There were so many shops to look at that I lost track.
"So? Whatta' think?" Jess spoke up, breaking my mesmerize state of the mall and I had a big smile.
"It's amazhing. Vow!" I looked at the place again in awe. I swore that my eyes twinkled like stars when I was looking up.
"Well come on. Let's get some shopping done." Rachel replied, grabbing a hold of my hand and we all ran. We first made our way in a store called Claire's and bought jewelry, makeup, and other accessories. I mainly bought accessories, and some jewelry, but one eyeshadow palette. We then head on to buy some clothes. I was keen on getting some new clothes, instead of wearing one of Wilbert's clothes that he had stashed away in his closet. Rachel had borrowed her mother's extra credit card for mainly on shopping items. So far, I had three bags full of shirts, shorts, pants, a few belts and a few dresses. We were almost drained from the shopping and we decided to take a break and head to the food court. The rest of the crew piled in near the fountain. Wilbert sat next to me and showed me his fixed camera.
"How did it go for jou?"
"Rather pretty well, they fixed the lenses on the front and did a few minor checkups before it was all set and done. I even have new film."
"Fabulous."
"God, I'm already exhausted from cleaning the garden." Corey groaned as he collapsed into the chair, sinking in almost.
"I figured that's vone of jour punishmentsh?" I asked with a smirk.
"Pretty much. I'd rather clean up the front yard then having to clean something that is disgusting." Corey responds.
"Like taking out the garbage?" Jess guessed.
"Oh I can take the garbage out part. What I can't do is babysitting one of my neighbors baby every day for some party." Corey explains.
"Glad I didn't have to babysit." Steve spoke.
"Yeah. Good thing Harold is doing the babysitting." Simon chimes in.
"Yeah. Thank god for that. That ass cunt deserved to babysit that disgusting creature." Corey responds, which in turns made Rachel stand up dramatically.
"How dare you! Babies aren't ugly!" Rachel scoffs, placing her hands on her hips.
"Oh yes the hell they are. There a bother to us boys and to the society of man that we don't have the time or the audacity to take care of the nasty creature." Corey explained. I rolled my eyes to a disagreement, while smiling.
"Okay. Sure. They barf a lot and they poop, but that still doesn't mean they're ugly and disgusting. They just haven't develop." Rachel speaks up. Jess then sighs unintentionally, laying her arm around me.
"Samantha, you wanna head to the music store with me. Guess you can say all this baby talk is aching my head?" Jess spoke. I laughed and nodded.
"Sure. Letsh go." I giggled and we got up.
"Me and my partner in crime, Samantha, are going to the music store." Jess announced and made a move.
"I'm going to." Fiona decided and we all walked away. That evening, we decided to head out, going back home. The shopping mall overall was incredible and I would definitely go back there at anytime. Wilbert and I both played with Theodore in the living room before dinner, and soon after, Wilbert decided that he wanted to look out at the sky, since stars were expecting to appear. So, we all booked it upstairs, into his room, shutting the door, and Wilbert, opened the window, and we all climbed to the roof. It was way getting out and inside the room. We got relaxed and looking up. There were some stars I spotted, but there aren't a lot up their yet. We planned to stay up all night, just to see the space that was up there. Hours later, it started to grow dark and the millions of stars appeared right before my eyes.
"Zhere sho many of zhem up zhere." I muttered.
"Yeah. You know, I always believed that those starts are our ancestors, people that once died, went to the heavens and became stars, and now it looks as if there staring down at us." Wilbert explained.
"Zhat iz intereshting. Jou know...I thought of zhe same thing. I alvaysh thought those stars vere people that vonce died and now there jusht...shtaring at us." I mummer softly. Wilbert laughed.
"Ha. I bet you father thought you were going crazy." He jokingly replied. I smiled, then looking up.
"Honeshtly, I didn't care. At the time, I didn't know vhat vas up their until my father revealed to me that all those stars are jusht balls of gas, but, somevhere in the sky, my mother iz batching over me." I explained soothingly. I always wondered who my mother was like. I guessed my father believe that I look like a splitting image of her and that was one of the reasons he wants me close to him, even if he failed to do so.
"Hm. That's sweet." He spoke.
"Ja." I replied. We both knew that we had to get back in bed before Wilbert's mother has the shimmies of us running off into the night without any notice. As we both, got back in bed, we all said our goodnights and with the lights turned off, everything became black.
