The sun had risen at it’s place shining all through the living things and the dead. Allyana was at Thomas’s room, sitting by his side on the bed. He couldn’t get up today, so she brought her breakfast to the room. But even the food was left untouched. She held his hand and asked if he was okay. All he did was turn his head to Allyana and stretched his pale lips from ear to ear. Allyana changed her position to lying beside him with her head on his chest.

“Allyana.” Thomas said as soft as a whisper.

“Yes?” She looked to Thomas.

“I. Want to say 3 things to you.”

“What are they?”

Thomas held her hand and breathed out with a cough at the end.

“First. I want to ask for your help to give a few stuff I haven’t had the chance to give to the orphanage house. It’s all in the house. Daniel prepared it for you to take. Second, I need you to go to Daniel for the documents I prepared for you.”

Allyana cracked as he was talking and cried.

“The documents are for you to bring to the will office and my will specialist which Daniel also knows. You have to go to Daniel. And lastly, I want you to follow your dreams. Be the NASA space engineer you have always wanted and go for a vacation to Italy.”

Allyana bowed her head down and her tears started to get heavier as she sucked in for breaths. She then got her head up to Thomas when he called her name.

“It’s time. Goodbye, Allyana.”

“Goodbye, Tommy.”

It had been two weeks since Daniel, Allyana, and Isla lost of their friend to the deadly disease. Allyana had not exited her room for days so Isla brought her foods, drinks, and kept her company, giving a shoulder to cry on.

Another week passed. Allyana walked into Thomas’s house, meeting Daniel, who was the person Thomas told her to see. After getting all the stuff in the car, Daniel drove both of them to the orphanage house where she went down, gave all the stuff, shared a cry and a hug with Mrs Pilony. Daniel then drove them through the roads to a will office. They both stepped inside the tall building meeting a lovely receptionist who brought them to Thomas’s will specialist.

Daniel handed the documents to the will specialist while Allyana had not spoken a word to Daniel since she met him. Allyana confirmed her full name when asked by the will specialist. She signed on the papers as he told her. The documents were confirmation of giving Allyana the lake house and 10 percent of his wealth while the other 90 was given to the orphanage house.

Had driven for a while, Daniel’s car finally stopped at Allyana’s home. He gave her a big, long hug when they had stepped out of the car.

“Thank you, Daniel.”

“Thank you, Allyana.”

6 months later, Allyana was in the boot camp of NASA, chasing her dream to be an engineer and was doing her training. Also, she had gone for a vacation to Italy, her dream place, and completing her trip, she went to Brazil.

There she was, the girl, sitting down, looking at the photo in the notebook, and finally closed it with all it’s imperfections.
