"You...you what?!? Tris...how...what..I don't know what to.. say..." Tobias says. I swallow and repeat " I woke up some where... California... and I don't know how long I've been asleep for and I saw my parents." He stays quiet for a minute. I heard someone gasp behind me and I turned around and Jeanine was standing there with her eyes bulging out of her head. "But..but you're dead! I saw you dead!" she said pointing a shaky finger at me. Wait a minute I was dead ?! Was that why I was gone? Is that why Tobias didn't expect me? I just looked at Tobias and I didn't notice Jeanine pulling a button out of her pocket and within a minute authorities were at my side pulling me away from Tobias. "TOBIAS! TOBIAS! HELP ME! PLEASE!" I tried to yell. I was exhausted or else I would fight back. Instead I let them carry my limp body into the back of a car. I was slowly blindfolded and knocked out.
