Keith's POV:

Hey, I'm back and I don't know if this is confusing, but I lived.

Yeah, so I somehow escaped and cheated death, but I wasn't as lucky as I'd thought I'd be.

Is this confusing to you?

It's confusing you isn't it.

I don't know, this is why I don't do things like this! I just don't know how to talk about things like this!

Why is this so hard for me?

Anything I try to do, I can't seem to ever explain properly!

And what about that whole Voltron chant thing Lance keeps going on about?

Why does there need to be a whole drawn out thing for it? Why can't we just say Voltron and get the whole thing over with?!

Am I the only who feels that way? It's just—

Oh, uh sorry, got off track, anyway back to the story.

Lance's POV:

"K-Keith?", I stuttered in shock, not quite believing I had seen Keith's purple irises shoot open.

I sat on my hurting butt, which had fallen violently to the ground, and stared at the pod in anticipation.

Nothing happened as I stared at Keith's motionless body and my hopes suddenly died.

Why would Keith ever be alive when he was and would stay dead? Who was I kidding?

He was gone. Kaput. Finished.

I had probably hallucinated the whole thing 'cause I missed that annoying mullet so much.

I groaned and buried my head in my knees, not quite sure what to think or do.

Slowly getting up, I made my way to the pod and painfully stole another look inside; even though I knew I'd only hurt myself more.

I then blinked and rubbed my eyes, before staring wide-eyed at the former red paladin.

My body shook as I watched Keith's chest rise and fall gently in peaceful breaths.

Keith was... breathing.

Breathing!

I slammed into the pod walls, pressing my hands against the transparent blue walls separating us, longing to feel his actual breath on my skin.

I needed to know this wasn't just a figment of my imagination.

"Keith! Keith!", I yelled waving my arms.

After a couple of moments I stopped, realizing waving my arms wasn't going to bring me Keith's attention if he was unconscious.

I put my hands on the pod again, "Come on, Keith! Wake up!", I pleaded my nerves going on at an all time high.

Finally, I couldn't take any more, as I opened the pod feverishly, catching Keith as he fell out.

Keith's body was damp and heated, but his hands were cold.

Sweat lined his forehead, mussing his hair and his expression was soft and loose.

He seemed lifeless, and I held him tight hoping that he was not gone.

I was starting to fear the worst though until I felt Keith breathing unsteadily in my arms.

"Keith? Keith! You're alive!!!", I laughed holding him close to my heart.
