Dipper's P.O.V. :

W-what's going on..? Why is he being so nice? No. It's all a trap. It has to be.

"Listen, Kid. I didn't mean to scare you, I was just.. Nervous.. To talk to you." Bill said, not showing an ounce of nervousness. Yeah, like I'd believe that. Wait, how did he know what I was thinking? "I'm a magical, floating, 2D triangle with one eye, and formal clothing. You're concerned about my ability to read minds?"

"Oh.. I've never thought of it like that. " I laughed, timidly. Bill laughed. My mood suddenly shifted, and I remembered something. "Wait, I'm getting off topic. You're still evil! I don't trust you, g-get away! "

"Pine Tree, Pine Tree, Pine Tree. Don't you see? It was all just one big misunderstanding." Bill corrected. He makes a compelling case, but I won't fall for it. Back in the woods that day, he looked like a demon, blood red body and an even darker shade for his - Or her, I'm not entirely sure, but I'll just assume it's a male - eye. I know what I saw, and nothing he does will change my mind. "Come on, Kid. Let's go for a walk." Bill held out his hand, gesturing for me to take it. I scoffed, turning away. Like hell I would ev--

"OWW!" I yelped in pain. What was that?? My eyes shot to the grass as I saw the rock which had seemingly hit my head.

"DIPPER! PLAY NICE!" I could hear Mabel shouting from inside the forest. I guess she was spying on us the whole time. Or she just has Mabel instincts that alert her when ever I do something that displeases her... But, really Mabel? Was that necessary?

"Yes it was, Pine Tree. Now, you heard the kid, shall we?" Inquired Bill, tipping his hat. It doesn't seem like I have much of a choice. I can't believe I'm about to go on a stroll with a hell-spawn. I could hear him chuckle, I conclude that it was probably at my thoughts.

"Argh. Let's just.. Get this over with." I roughly grabbed his hand and began walking deeper into the forest. after about 30 long seconds, Bill spoke up.

"Erm, Pine Tree?"

"What?!"

"I know you love me and all, but this relationship is moving to fast. So, would you mind letting go of my hand?" I held up my hand, and sure enough, I was holding his. Quickly withdrawing my hand, I turned my head to the side, embarrassed. I muttered a quick "shut up", before picking up my pace. Unfortunately for me, Bill caught up pretty fast (with his whole 'being able to fly' thing).

"Well, uh, while we're here, can you tell me about yourself?" I asked. I'm trying to gather intel so I can find his weaknesses, I'm a genius! ... And he can hear my thoughts...

"Well, aren't you perceptive? " Bill smirked. I have no idea how he managed to pull off a face that looked like he was smirking, because he doesn't even have a mouth. "Well, I once was a person just like you, but I was put under a curse."

"A curse? What kind of curse?" I questioned. It sounded fake, but considering he's a floating triangle, I guess the idea isn't so far fetched after all.

"Well, the curse turned me into a two-dimensional shape, but there's only one way I can turn into a human." He answered, sighing in despair. Oh, okay. It makes sense, let's see what I can do to help. I was about to ask, but Bill read my thoughts and replied before I could even open my mouth. "I need to make a deal. A deal in which I am aloud free access inside the mind of the other participant, then I will turn into a human."

"Wait, you can go inside my mind?" I took a step back, frightened at the thought. I stupidly covered my head with my arms, as if that would stop him from somehow entering my mind.

"It's not like that, Pine Tree. The way it works is that I can enter and take control of the mind of someone, I can also see their memories. But, I need permission, or to make a deal that allows me, to enter their mind." He explained. Relaxing a bit, I lowered my protective arms that were keeping me "safe" from his mind invasion. I was skeptical about his story, but the look in his eye just had a strange.. Affect on me. Reluctantly, I held out my hand.

"Welcome to my mind, Cipher. " I squeezed my eyes closed, I'm not sure why I did this. Like closing my eyes would stop the impending doom I had just created (That may have been a bit of an exaggeration on my part). I figured that since the curse would be broken, the part about him entering my mind would not be able to work. Then, another hand (Hopefully his) firmly grasped mine.

"Thank you so much, Pine Tree! " He thanked. Suddenly, I could see a bright flash of light. I was thankful my eyes were closed. After the light faded, I slowly opened each of my eyes to see a boy in front of me. He was slightly taller than me (only by a few inches) and wearing clothing similar to what Bill's triangle form looked like. Even sporting a floating top hat, and an eye patch covering his right eye. There was no doubt about it. This boy, was Bill.

Bill's P.O.V. :

Jeez, he is more gullible than I thought. One sob story and he gives me free access throughout his mind! Of course I made up the story, even changing my form to go along with the little role play. As much as I love my handsome triangle form, I could get used to the feel of this one. The reason I used my incredible acting skills is to not only gain Pine Tree's trust, but to also get to Stanford Pines.

Using his Great Nephew as blackmail? How could a family man like him say no. I don't understand how humans could feel so much for a person. Or maybe.. Change of plans. I have free access to Pine Tree's mind! I'll just take the information straight from it!

After Pine Tree was done checking me out, we walked back to his house. We parted paths and I walked back into the woods. I don't think he knows that I still have my powers...

This could make things interesting.
