Third Person's P.O.V. :

It was now around 7:30, Dipper and Bill had slept through most of the day. Bill woke up first, still finding Dipper snuggled into him with a prominent smile. Suddenly, Bill heard a faint giggle sound from in front of him. Looking up, he saw Mabel taking photos of them.

When she saw she had been caught she put her phone into her pocket and ran away screaming. The sound made Dipper stir in his sleep, eventually waking him up. As he lifted his head, still half asleep, he glanced at Bill who was stroking his back, reassuring him that everything was okay.

After a little while of enjoying the warmth radiating off of each other, they both decided it was time to get up. Brushing off the excess dirt and grass on their clothing, they made their way back to the Mystery Shack. Grunkle Stan and Mabel were waiting outside, Mabel's phone in Stan's face, scrolling through what was presumably the pictures she took. Stan looked up, arms crossed, and tapped his foot impatiently on the wooden boards of his porch, expecting an explanation.

"H-hi! Um... Grunkle Stan!" Dipper greeted, fake enthusiasm laced his voice. Stan squinted his eyes at them, looking directly at Bill.

"Cut the crap, Kid." Grunkle Stan responded, "Who's the pirate and why we're you two cuddling in the woods?"

Dipper stepped up onto the porch, dragging Bill along with him.

"Grunkle Stan, meet Bill." Dipper said, gesturing to Bill, "My boyfriend."

Mabel let out a squeal, before running into the house.

"MY OTP IS COMING TRUE!!!!!" Mabel screamed, throwing her emergency confetti around the house. She happened to have planned this moment out. Grunkle Stan dropped the interrogation and ran after the crazy child making a mess in his house.

"Hey! You better pick that up!!! Mabel!!" Dipper and Bill laughed together, intertwining their hands. Mabel ran back out, a little worn out from all the running and screaming.

"Bill!! You need to stay for dinner!" Mabel wheezed, resting her hands on her knees, panting. Grunkle Stan ran out of the house at that moment, and having been able to hear the conversation, he slowly nodded.

"Yes.. Bill. Stay for dinner. " He added a smile at the end that was transparently fake. Bill backed up a few steps, releasing Dipper's hand in the process.

"Well.. You see.. I would but.. I wouldn't want to intrude on you guys so... " Bill excused himself, but Stan wasn't having it. He took a few steps toward the shaking boy and gritted his teeth together.

"It's fine... I. Insist. "  At that moment, Mabel peered over Grunkle Stan's shoulder, giving him a sympathetic look.

"It's fine, he'll warm up to you. Just give him some time." She whispered, kindly. Bill let out a sigh of relief, smiling thankfully back at her. Bill, Dipper, Mabel, and Grunkle Stan all went inside for their dinner. It was awkward.

"So Bill.. How did you meet Dipper?" Grunkle Stan squinted at him. Both Dipper and Bill gulped, remembering the horrific story all to well.

"W-well.. We met in the forest, we were both going for a walk and we happened to have bumped into each other!" Bill responded, technically not lying. Dipper nodded in agreement. That's not where Grunkle Stan's interrogation ended though.

"What's your last name?"

"Cipher"

"What's your favorite color?"

"Yellow"

"What's your shoe size?"

"SHOE SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!!" Dipper answered for Bill, clearly understanding the purpose of the question. Bill and Grunkle Stan laughed as they then started a conversation on Dipper's... "Quirkiness".

The overall conversation was humorous and enjoyable for everyone.. Except Dipper, who was covering his face with his hands to hide his shame. Grunkle Stan even went as far as to grab some old photo albums he had of Dipper from a younger age to show to Bill. The photos were mostly embarrassing moments of him, like the time when he got his head stuck in a fishbowl, trying to kiss the fish. After dinner, Grunkle Stan and Bill had bonded quite a bit, sharing common interests from embarrassing Dipper, to buying gold. Dipper had retreated his embarrassment to the roof, where he laid down, gazing at the stars.

Dipper was glad his family got along with Bill, as he could hear their laughter and incoherent conversations through the walls. Soon, he could no longer hear the joyful conversations, as everything went silent. Then, some footsteps could be made out, leading up to the roof. Turning his head over, he saw the blonde hair of a certain male making its way onto the roof.

"How's it going, Pine Tree?" Bill smiled, making his way to sit down next to him. Dipper sat up, shrugging.

"Not much. I see you're getting along with my family." Dipper said. Bill's smile grew even wider.

"Yeah! They are fun to be around!" Bill exclaimed. "They even helped me with a little something.." He added, scooching closer.

"W-what is it?" Dipper inquired. Bill smirked, which was still visible through the dim lighting coming from the moon. He heard a faint "Now" come from below them, but that didn't matter. Bill brushed the hair covering Dipper's face and slowly leaned in to give Dipper a tender kiss. Dipper didn't take long to respond, pushing himself forward. Suddenly, a loud 'BOOM' sounded a few yards a way from where they were. As it turns out, Mabel and Grunkle Stan were firing fireworks up into the sky. So, that's the project Bill was talking about... Nice touch.

Dipper and Bill both turned themselves to watch the fireworks display before them. Dipper rested his head against Bill's shoulder, intertwining their fingers.

"It's beautiful." Dipper commented. Bill looked at Dipper, watching how the fireworks lit up his face with multiple colors. He lightly grabbed Dipper's chin and turned him to look at himself before leaning in.

"It sure is" Punctuating it with a kiss.  Dipper and Bill both felt something inside themselves that night...
