Bill's P.O.V. :I leaned back on my tree, soaking up the breeze and welcoming the light drizzle with open arms. The serene - Almost euphoric - lullabies sung by the birds relaxed my muscles. Tilting my head up, light droplets of water scattered across my face, building up to roll down my cheeks and absorb onto my dress shirt. I drew my hand through my hair, slicking it back with the water.
Whilst doing so, I absentmindedly knocked my hat off and the wind carried it a few meters from the tree. As I was preparing to get off the tree and retrieve it, someone had beaten me to it.
"I believe this is yours, if I'm not mistaken." A voice playfully said, raising the hat in front of his face, concealing himself. He moved the hat away showing that it was, in fact, Pine Tree. I smiled back at him.
"How could you tell?" I replied, matching his playful tone.
"Who else where's a top hat in the woods?" He mocked as I made my way down the tree. I reached the ground and walked over to him.
"Touché." Dipper reached out his hand to return my hat, to which I gladly accepted it. Our fingers brushed against one another as we did so, causing a small spark to run through my body and a shiver to travel down my spine. I withdrew my hand quickly. "Um - Thanks."
" 'Course. Always ready to help a friendly neighborhood demon!" Dipper then paused and contemplated something. I easily could have figured out what it was, but I am swearing off of magic. Well, most magic. That one time to stalk Dipper didn't count! "Well, I guess I'm always ready to help A neighborhood demon. Friendly... Not so much."
"Ouch! My feelings!" I laughed, dramatically clutching at my "heart". It had been a while since he had a nice, light-hearted talk like this. It was even more refreshing than the drizzle that had yet to subside. Dipper chuckled before saying a quick goodbye and departing to what I could only assume was the Mystery Shack.
I contemplated climbing back up onto my tree, but ruled against it. Stalki - Observing Pine Tree seemed to be a much more enjoyable pastime. I'm sure it would be okay to use my powers again. It was in the name of research after all! I hastily concealed myself - Invisible to practically everyone - and raced to Dipper, eager to begin my.. Research.
When I was in a few yards distance of Pine Tree, I slowed down as to not draw any unwanted attention my way. Though, being seen by Dipper wasn't "unwanted" per se, it was more of what he didn't want. I am convinced that Dipper was only trying to be a good Samaritan and he in fact does not want to actually hold a conversation with me. Ah, how the truth hurts.
Whilst being caught up in my own aching thoughts, I failed to notice my surroundings, causing me to step on a rather noisy stick. I've never heard a stick make that much noise. It's like it's out to get me! Needless to say, Dipper noticed and swiftly turned to look behind him. I stood still, so still in fact that I could be mistaken for a statue. {A/N: Look at that reference! Yeah!}
"Dang Hide-Behind! One day I'll get you. One day." Dipper cursed before walking back on his original course. {A/N: I am on a role today! Okay.. I'll stop..} As curious as I was to know what a "Hide-Behind" was, being near Pine Tree was my main objective. He took a few minutes to get there - Walking abnormally slow - and went straight inside.
Walking through the door would be conspicuous. Doors don't usually open and close on there own. Instead, I teleported straight to Dipper and Mabel's room, figuring that's where he'd be headed. Sure enough, my intuition was right, Dipper was entering the room and heading straight for his bead, laying down.
Mabel sat on her's, writing in what seemed to be a photo album. Ah, the one from yesterday! I crept over to her, looking over her shoulder. She reached over to her bedside table and pulled out a sheet of paper. Placing it on the scrapbook, she began to write.
"Hiyya, Bill! Long time no see!" I froze, before picking up the pen she set down on her paper.
"How did you know I was here?" She smiled, victoriously. I set the pen down.
"I just had a feeling. You're here for Dipper, right?"
" 'Course I am. I missed him"
"He missed you, as well."
"I know. I heard him." I remembered back to when Dipper was falling asleep, whisper in that he missed me. He had also said he didn't forgive me, though.
"You have NO idea. He writes a little journal about you, did you know that?" Though I was looking over her shoulder, I could sense she was smirking as if she had bested me. I mean, she totally did. I had no idea he even HAD a journal.
"No? I would love to see it though!" Mabel tapped her pen against her chin, thoughtfully.
"I'll give you it.. In exchange for something else." I rolled my eyes.
"Industrial sized thing of sprinkles?"
"Naturally!"
"Eh, fine. You've got yourself a deal. It'll be out back, but first. The journal." This girl may be a sucker for rainbows and sprinkles, but she is a genius. That's not even an exaggeration. How she comes up with her plans and how she has these weird senses is beyond even my knowledge.
"We'll go tradesies. Meet me out back in an hour."
"You're the boss, Shooting Star."
She promptly crumbled up the piece of paper into a ball and threw it into the recycling bed located conveniently beside her bed. I saw no use in staying and watching her, so I left and waited outside the house with her sprinkles. An hour later she came as agreed, but she was wearing a long, pink, trench coat, a sparkly, pink, Fedora, and unicorn sunglasses.
She surveyed the area around us before slowly making her way to me. She faced the same direction as I was.
"You got the goods?" She whispered.
"No, these are just tubs I filled with only potato skins. Of course they are!" I sarcastically responded. She reached into her trench coat and pulled out a small, black, leather journal.
"On three, we trade. One. Two. Three." On cue, I slid the tub of sprinkles towards her as she handed me the book. "Pleasure doing business with ya'."
She tipped her Fedora and made her way inside carrying a giant container of diabe- sprinkles. Everyone should be concerned for her health by the things she eats. I once saw her consume an entire stick of butter. In one bite. It was disturbing, and that's the day I learned to never spy on Mabel.
I teleported back to my branch on my tree and opened up the journal, reading the first entry.
Now It's Time For:

Bill: You did NOT just do that!
Author: What? What did I do? Because it was Jimmy! Jimmy punched the unicorn in the face, not me!
Bill: I.. What? No! I was talking about the cliffhanger!
Author! Really? Oh, sweet relief. Wait, I usually leave it on cliffhangers.. What's the problem?
Bill: The problem is that I wanted to read that journal!!
Author: Yeah? Well, it's almost midnight and I can't be bothered to come up with anything to put in the journal!
Bill: You haven't thought of what to write in it?
Author: Shhhh......
