(A/N: Ayeee! I'm alive... Sorry for my lovely writer's block! I am still stumped on writing this, so my chapters will be quite a bit longer than usual and come out slightly later for a little while! Sorry!)
Third Person's P.O.V. :
Bill sat impatiently on his throne, all of his friends had left to wreak havoc or something. He hadn't been to keen on paying attention to the small details. His mind was already to clouded to process anything other than Dipper. Standing up, Bill started to pace the floor, kicking random assortments of objects out of the way.
What is wrong with me? Bill looked down at his trembling hands, clenching them into a tight ball. What is this emotion? It feels like all I want to do is lock myself in a room with Dipper, cradle him, and apologize over and over! Bringing his fist to the wall, he punctured a hole through it, easily.
Bill let out a loud, frustrated scream, falling to his knees. He leaned his head against the wall, defeated. Openly, Bill let the tears fall down his cheeks, not caring to wipe them off. Not once in Bill's existence has he ever remotely felt and remorse for his actions. Not even when he murdered his own family.
Bill shakily stood to his feet and made his way over to the entrance of his pyramid. Sitting down, he let his legs dangle over the edge as he took in all of his actions. The air smelt of smoke and had a small hint of the copper from shedded blood. This was nothing like when he had first arrived. The air used to be a fresh pine smell with traces of wild berries.
The land space had also gone through a drastic change, as well. The once flourishing evergreens were now either knocked over, burnt to a crisp, or both. Some even became sentient and now attacked the few people that had managed to escape the demon's grasps. Looking up, the sky had also changed quite a bit. A blue, clear sky had turned to an eerie orange with two prominent pink gashes.
Bill sighed, displeased with his scenery. He turned to look at the town, yet found it was not any better. Worse even. His friends were scouring the town, looking for stragglers, knocking down anything and everything in their path. Including houses and buildings.
He stood up and ran back inside, horrified. If you had shown this to him a few weeks ago, he would have she'd a tear of happiness at the destruction and hung it on his wall. Now, however, all Bill could think about was how disappointed Dipper would be in him. No.. How disappointed Dipper IS in him.
The thought consumed Bill inside. So much so in fact, that Bill had to set some things straight. Teleporting himself to Dipper's room, he saw that Dipper was fast asleep. Not wanting to wake him, Bill laid down with his back to the side of his bed and waited for him.
All the while tears poured down his flushed face. His lip started to quiver and choked sobs began to escape his lips. Dipper awoke to the small noise sat up quietly without Bill noticing. He was about to say something when Bill started to whisper to himself.
"I'm so sorry... It wasn't supposed to happen like this..." Bill muttered, his voice was trembling. As much as Dipper hated Bill, he couldn't help but feel sympathy for him. He was his first love after all. "I.. I don't know what I was thinking.. It was so... stupid.. I regret everything.."
Dipper placed a hand on Bill's shoulder, alerting Bill to turn his head around and gaze him in the eyes. Dipper could see the remorse in his eyes.
"Yeah. It was stupid. Very, very, stupid." Dipper smiled slightly. Bill slowly made his way into the bed, facing Dipper. He leaned in to Dipper slowly as if to say 'I won't hurt you, I promise'. Wrapping his arms around Dipper, he pulled him into a gentle hug, placing his forehead on Dipper's shoulder.
"I'm so sorry........ So, so, sorry...." Bill apologized. Dipper was shocked to feel warm droplets land on his thigh. Is Bill crying? I... Bill never cries. And yet, there Bill was, in the flesh, crying. Dipper returned the hug, and whispered sweet nothings into his ear, attempting to calm him down.
He wasn't sure why exactly he was doing so, it just felt right. Like Bill fit perfectly in Dipper's arms. He pulled him in closer and Bill stopped sobbing with only the occasional tear falling. Bill looked up at Dipper and managed to force out a small, shameful smile. Dipper could tell just by looking at him that he had meant every word he had said.
Dipper stood up and got off the bed, holding his hand out to Bill.
"Let's end this, shall we?"
".....Okay. Let's do this. "
