Peridots POV

It honestly shocked me that Lazuli came back to tell me all of that, but I was happy to see her again. I honestly missed her more than I thought I did.

"So uh- are you free later tonight..?" Lapis looked over at me, giving a small smile. "I was thinking about going to this diner that just opened up near the boardwalk. It's 24 hours."

"Oh- Yeah, I'm free. What time should we go..?" I smiled.

"What about we go at 7?"

I nodded. "I'll meet you there. Text me the address of the place though."

Lapis nodded. "I'll see you later."

"Yeah- cya!"

Lapis got up and walked to the door. She gave a small wave before opening it and leaving. I pulled my laptop back onto my lap and continued typing, finishing up work for my boss.

Finally, 6:30 rolled around and I got off the couch to get ready for the diner. I walked into the small room I was using at Stevens house, and picked out an outfit. I wore a green sweatshirt with black ripped skinny jeans. To top it all off, I put my black stud earrings into my ears.

I pulled up the directions Lapis sent to my phone, it was a 15 minute walk so I decided I should start early. It was kind of chilly outside, I crossed my arms over my chest to keep my hands warm.

I arrived to the diner at 6:45 and waited inside for Lapis. I watched her pull up on her motorbike. (Which by the way made her 10x hotter..) She parked it then walked inside.

"Hey." She smiled.

"Hello." I smiled back and walked up to the hostess counter. "Table for 2, please."

She nodded. "Right this way please." I followed the hostess to a small booth in the back corner of the diner. "Your waitress will be with you soon." She turned on her heel and walked back to the front.

I slid into the side facing the door, and Lapis slid into the side opposite of me. "This is a cozy little place."

Lapis nodded her head. "Yeah, I found it a few months ago." She looked around the diner. "The people are really nice too."

"That's good." I smiled. Our waitress walked up and took our drink orders. I ordered a water, and Lapis ordered a strawberry milkshake.

"Damn, I should've gotten a milkshake. Didn't see them on the menu." I sighed.

"You can have some of mine.. if you want." She blushed, her face turning a light shade of pink. I nodded slightly.

Our waitress came back with our drinks. She took our orders and I ordered a cheeseburger, and Lapis ordered a salad.

"Are you vegan now?" I looked at her.

"Oh- no I was just craving a salad." She shrugged.

"Sureee you were." I joked. The waitress brought us our food, then walked off. "I wonder if they serve alcohol here.. I need a beer or something." I sighed.

"You must not pay very good attention to the menu." She smiled and called the waitress over. "We'll have two beers please." The waitress nodded then walked back into the kitchen.

"Guess you needed one too, huh." I laughed.

"Yeah, it sounds pretty good right now." Lapis nodded and the waitress brought out our drinks. Lapis took a sip of hers, and I did the same.

We left the diner at about 10:30. We've each had three beers and we were a little tipsy.

"Well.. I guess I'll cya tomorrow." I hiccuped.

"Come with meeee." Lapis grabbed my arm and shook it gently.

"To where?" I looked at her confused, then hiccuped again.

"My house, dumbass." She pulled me over to her motorcycle. "Get on." She demanded.

"Are you sure you're able to drive, Lapis..?" I got on the back, almost tipping the entire bike over.

"Yeah- I'm only a little drunk, plus I live like a few minutes from here." She got on the bike and started the engine. "Hold on tight."

She took off quickly, which took me by surprise. I wrapped my arms around her torso and held on like my life depended on it. Well, it kinda did..

We got to her house safely, and she pulled her motorcycle into her driveway. She turned off the engine and got off, twirling the keys on her thumb.

"Thought I was going to suffocate with you holding on that tight." She laughed.

"Hey- you're the one that was speeding! I've never been on one of those!" I grumbled.

"Okay, whatever." She pulled my arm again and started walking up the stairs to her door. Her house was a light blue beach condo, so it was up on stilts just Incase the beach came up too far. 

*cough* a bit of sin here >:)

She unlocked the door and pulled me inside. I felt my back against the wall and Lapis was in front of me, holding me there.

"L-Lapis.."

"Shh.." She leaned in and kissed me, her lips were soft and tasted like strawberry chapstick. She pulled away slowly.

"I.. Ive missed you.. a lot, Lapis." I sighed.

"I've missed you too, Peri." She kissed me again, this time I deepened it. After awhile of hungrily making out, we both pulled away to catch our breaths.

She started pulling me towards her bedroom, but then there was a knock on the door that stopped us. I groaned and looked at Lapis, who went to go open it.
