I am here to revive this book and give it the ending it deserves. Enjoy :)

May 4th

Of course we would get married on May 4th. Peridot wanted this so she could say the good ole 'May the 4th be with you' joke the entirety of their wedding. What a nerd. My nerd though. Lapis chuckled to herself as she gathered her thoughts. She looked at her dress in the mirror, completely falling in love with how the dress hugged her curves all over again. Her thoughts got broken up when she heard a small knock at the door. "Come in!"

Her sister, Freckles walked in. "Oh gosh sis, I can't believe you're getting married! Never thought it would happen!" She teased and shut the door behind her.

Lapis rolled her eyes and smiled at her older sister. "Yeah, surprised me too." She laughed quietly. "Is it almost time for me?"

Freckles nodded and squealed with excitement. "They're about to start playing the organ, so as soon as we hear it start up I have to get you out there so you can walk down the aisle."

She nodded again and took one last look at herself in the mirror as she took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm ready."

Her sister nodded and softly took her hand as she lead her out to the front of the chapel doors. Yes, this very very lesbian couple was getting married in a church. Iconic. Lapis smiled to herself and squeezed her sisters hand gently.

"You've got this sis." Freckles gave her an assuring nod and let go of her hand as the musician started to play the traditional 'here comes the bride' song on the organ. The chapel doors swung open and Lapis started her walk down the aisle, immediately locking eyes with Peridot.

Peridot couldn't handle herself, tears started to flood her eyes. "My god, she's beautiful." She whispered to herself louder then expected, causing some of the audience to chuckle.

Lapis made it to the arbor, which had a beautiful arrangement of white and blue flowers covering it. She smiled at Peridot before stopping in front of her. "Hi." She whispered quietly and smiled even wider.

"H-Hi. You look so great." Peridot smiled back as she wiped her tears quickly. The music stopped and the ceremony began.

After what felt like hours of listening to the marriage officiant talk, they finally got to say their vows. Peridot decided she would go first.

"It's kinda crazy how we met." She chuckled quietly, as did Lapis. "But I'm so glad we did. We've been through our ups and downs, but now we're here together and it'll stay like that. I promise." Peridot smiled as she teared up again.

Lapis was tearing up as well, she was just so happy and didn't know how to handle it, so she just cried. She finally pulled herself together and started her vows. "No matter what we go through Peridot, we will always have each other through thick and thin. Through sickness and hardship, and I promise that." She smiled.

The marriage officiant nodded, content with the vows. They each got handed their rings and Peridot slowly slid one onto Lapis's finger. Lapis did the same, smiling as her hands shook slightly as she slid the ring onto Peridots finger.

"You may kiss the bride!" Is all the both of them heard, and they immediately locked lips. Their kiss was followed by a bunch of claps and cheers by their families and friends watching.

Once they pulled away they smiled at each other and interlocked their hands and said their first 'I love yous' as wives.
