Waking up in my bed a while later, My head had a faint pounding to it. My hands automatically went to my throat, the burning feeling still there and very much lingering. Having my breathing back, Heaven. Flat out.
‘’You’re finally up! Oh, Sora.’’ I turned to Yui. She shoved a glass of water into my hands and immediately I downed in and fell back onto my pillow. ‘’I can’t believe him.’’
‘’Me either,-’’ She said with a small frown. ‘’It was odd seeing Subaru carry you to your room. what happened?’’ I tilted my head and stared at her. I decided not to tell her about what Laito had done, It wasn’t like the first few times where I had been a blushing girly fit.
‘’Nothing, I guess I was just exhausted.’’ I lied and turned over in my bed. ‘’I might take a bath. Or not. I don’t plan to go to school.’’ I muttered. Yui went still and sighed. ‘’If you ever want to go to college and get out of here, You’d better go.’’ I groaned inwardly as she scolded me. But she was right. I wasn’t about to drop out because of some guy. Some adorable, idiot jerk asshole. stupid cute jerk who almost tried to kill me.

‘’Where were you yesterday? I was lonely.’’ Emi came up to me afterwards and wrapped herself around me. ‘’You look like hell,’’ She said with a discerning frown. ‘’I feel like hell.’’ I said with a light laugh as we head to class. ‘’Are you and your boyfriend having problems?’’ She asked me. She looked up with concern but I could she mean well. ‘’My boyfriend, I don’t have a boyfriend.’’ I said. She looked like she wanted to say more, but she closed her mouth and shrugged. I didn’ question it.
I was still thinking about my encounter with the golden eyes Vampire who called himself Shin. And also thinking about how I was almost murdered. I knew deep down that I couldn’t let go of what Laito had done to me. At all. I would get down to the real reason he gave us up. And even though I didn’t want to, and because it would probably be dangerous-
I was going to find out what big things were about to happen. how many other ‘Founding Vampires’ were sneaking around this town?
