Eva

I walk off stage and my Manager comes up to me, holding my phone. I unlock it and read the 17 billion texts that I received durning my performance.

One from Makayla made me double look, I haven't talked to her in a few days, I miss her.

Boo Thang😍- oh my god, girl that performance was good, surprise we're here:)

I looked up from my phone, looking for my manager, Brittany.

"Hey Brittany! Can you go get Makayla and whoever she's with, bring them back here."

She nodded and walked off to find them.

Whoever them is.

I'm doing a show for Amazon, I released an album 2 weeks ago and it reached number one within 3 days. That's fucking crazy.

I've been in New York for about 2 months. Life as been everything I've ever wanted it to be! I hate to call myself famous but I'm very more known than I've ever been.

Paparazzi is fucking insane, everywhere I go. Always throwing questions at me about actually really personal things.

Me and Hakeem are working on a song together and I know after we perform at Lucious's club, people are going to assume we're together, or at least they'll think we were together.

The song is called All In, it's about a couple who doesn't know if they should try again because last time it was ended a beautiful disaster.

"Shes right in here guys" I hear Brittany say, I perk up in my seat and smile, seeing them all walk in.

I jump and hug Makayla. Looking behind her I see Sammy, Nate, Jj, and Jack.

Everything kinda slows down and we make eye contact. It's all slow motion. He looks so different yet the same.

We haven't even spoken since we were back home and when we broke up.

I unfollowed him on everything because who wants to see their ex's posts? It would've made it harder to get over him.

The no contact made it easy to forget.

Sometimes the music was keeping me so busy I forgot to miss him and then one day it just didn't hurt as much.

I pulled my eyes away from him at the same I pulled away from Makayla's embrace.

I moved over and hugged the guys, "I've missed you so much Skate" I said as we hugged.

He returned the greeting, "I've missed having your annoying little ass waking me up in the morning." I rolled my eyes playfully and hugged Jj and Sam.

It got to the point where I knew Jack was the last to be greeted and when I turned to him I now noticed the girl clinging to his arm.

Ouch.

She looked oddly familiar I just couldn't put my finger on it.

"Hi jack" I let out a breath, he side smiled and went in to hug me. I embraced him and felt every ounce of my body tingle from the spark he gave me.

I forgot how much I loved his smell, how much I loved being in his arms.

We pulled apart from each other and he turned toward the girl, "Eva this is Tiana, babe this is Eva."

Babe. That used to be what he called me.

My heart is breaking all over again. This time it hurts a lot worse. I didn't like thinking about him being with another girl because it hurt to much but now that it's right in front of my eyes, this hurts way more than I ever would've imagined.

"Hi Eva, your performance was amazing, your really talented!" She was gorgeous. AND NICE? Fuuuuck.

I wanted to hate her.

"Thank you." I was short and quick. I turned to my manager and I gave her a wide eyed look really quick signaling I don't want to be in this situation anymore and she caught on right away.

"Alright Eva, I need you to come with me for a minute and then you should be good to go." I nodded and turned to Makayla.

"You guys can chill here ill be right back and then we can go to my house"

She nodded and they all went to lounge on the living area in my dressing room.

I followed her out of the room that was filled with awkward tension, at least for me.

I didn't expect to see him so soon, that must mean he heard all the lyrics I sang in my last song. It was basically about him indefinitely.

See, awkward.

I wish it was that easy for me to move on. I had a feeling he was going to be the one to take that step first. I've had the opportunity believe me, I just felt like I came her soulfully to work on my music, I didn't leave him for nothing.

I wasn't going to disrespect him like that, but clearly he didn't feel the same.

Jack

Tiana rested underneath my arm, while we all chilled on the comfortable black leather couch.

Nate was eyeing me and said, "so how do you feel about her last song? Bruh that was totally about you"

I'm not going to lie, it kinda did hurt a little but I'm completely over Eva. She's the past, Tiana is my future.

"Nah man I'm all good." I smiled playfully looking down at my girl. "Baby"

She looked up and smiled, pressing her lips to mine.
