At the airport in Los Angels

I was standing by the baggage claim, just watching everyone slowly pass by. I saw a mother with a baby on her hip, she was pointing at the plane taking off through the large glass window.

The baby dazed at the large plane in awe, and the mom just smiled. I glanced down at my stomach and lifted my hand to rest on it.

I wasn't showing yet but just knowing that there is a baby inside of me makes my heart feel warm.

"Im gonna protect you forever" I whisper just above my breath.

"Eva. Hi" I looked up and saw Skate.

I smiled and when he reached me I embraced him in a hug. "Hi Nate, it's so good to see you"

We pulled away from the hug and he grabbed my bags from me and we made our way out of LAX.

I looked up at the pricing California sun and I've missed it. The feeling of warmth on my skin is amazing.

New York can get pretty chilly.

I looked ahead at the car and noticed that it was just going to be me and Nate heading back to the house.

He put my bags in the back as I got into the passenger seat, him then following and sitting in the driver seat.

We pulled into the driveway of the place I once called home. I noticed a few new cars that were parked in the driveway, I wish Makayla would've told me that they were having company over.

Nate put the car in park and I hesitantly got out and retrieved my bags, with the help of him.

He lead the way into the house and held the door open for me as I entered.

I didn't see anybody right away but I sure did hear them, they must be in the living room, or out back.

I looked at Nate as he searched for the voices too, he looked back at him and motioned for me to follow.

We sat my bags down and walked through the house, until we reached a small but large group of people sitting around the living room.

Everyone looked up at us as we walked in and my eyes immediately diverted to Jack's. He was lounging on the couch with Tiana tucked securely under his arm.

Looks like he really did make a mistake with me.

And now that I'm pregnant he's really going to regret coming to New York.

I tore my eyes away from his and scanned around the room, some faces were familiar like Makayla's, Johnson's, and Sammy's.

Nate introduces me to all the new people, "guys this is Eva Goff, Eva this is Stassie, Andrea, Lauren, this is kian and Jc."

I smiled at each one of them, they must be friends of Tiana's because I've never heard of them and my friend group is very well put together, like we all got each other.

I'm not totally sure though, I have been gone for a few months.

Tiana got up from Jack and made her way towards me, this is becoming slightly awkward. She reaches me and smiles a small smile, "Eva do you mind if we talk in private?"

My mind races to a million different options. What could she possibly want to talk about? Did Makayla say something to her? Surely she wouldn't do that to me.

Did Jack say something about me and him? Fuck, my anxiety is sky rocketing right now.

We reach the dinning room and we take a seat at the large glass table.

"Welcome back I should say" she smiles warmly at me. Good sign right?

"Thanks, it's nice to see you again" I tried to be polite but these hormones are making me want to just yell at her and tell her to get out of Jack's life so we can be together again but you'd never catch me doing some psycho ex girlfriend type shit.

She sighed and started talking again, on no, "so Jack told me what really went down between you guys." A large lump in my throat started to form and my mouth felt dry.

"I'm sorry it ended in such a shitty way, but just know he's in a better place now because of it."

What the fuck? Is that supposed to be a compliment?

My facial expression must've been clear because she quickly adds on, "no need to get defensive, just know that I don't give a fuck if you move back in with him, just know that he's mine and you aren't going to wiggle your way into our relationship. Okay? You broke his heart and I fixed it, not you. Got that? Great"

Her fake ass smile really pushed it over the edge. I so badly want to be like 'haha bitch that's why I'm pregnant with his child' but I could never just blurt something like that out.

Instead I went a different route.

"Listen here bitch. I can get jack back like this if I wanted, but I'm over him, he's an ex for a reason. It really shows how intimidated you are by me if you had to make it that clear that he's yours or whatever." I backed away from her and made my way back into the kitchen to get my bags and take them to my room.

I'm really tired and that bitch has really got me messed up. Just wait little bitch, just you fucking wait.
