Never in a million years did davina think that her brother would need her assistance. Adam's words almost made davina choke on her ice cream while she watched reruns of golden girls. "Did I just hear you right? You need my help?"

"In a way, yes." Adam replied still not sounding that convincing to davina.

"What do you mean 'in a way'? Do you ever make sense?" Davina lowered the volume on the tv and groaned at her brothers words. As adam was going to talk again, the phone was grabbed by maria.

"We have a mission for you. Be at the compound at five, there's a plane waiting for you." Maria said without hesitation.

"What kind of mission? Do I need to leave a will?"

"Just be there soon." She said before hanging up the phone.

Davina arrived at the compound still confused at what type of mission fury, maria and adam had planned for her. She entered the building and saw an agent approaching her. "Miss kirk? Follow me." The agent said and directed her to the back area where a plane was parked.

"Did fury tell you what kind of mission they have planned or is it 'classified'?" Davina asked the agent as she entered the plane. The agent ignored her and left.

"He's a quiet person. Only time he talked to me was when I parked in his spot." Happy Hogan's voice brought a smile to the blonde girl's face.

"Happy!" Davina threw her arms around happy and brought him into a hug. "How are you? Rhodey, pep and morgan doing alright?"

"I'm good. We're all getting used to it.." he said quietly. "What about you?"

The plane had started and was in the air by the time davina had a chance to answer. "I'm alright. Could be better, but I'm just alright. Maybe when I'm finished with this mission, I'll visit Morgan. I miss her."

"She refuses to watch the little mermaid without you." Happy said.

"But that's her favorite movie.."

Happy chuckled. "She thinks that it's your favorite movie. That's why she always put it on."

The plane had landed, as davina got off, adam waved at her. He leaned against a black car, sunglasses placed on his face. "You have got to be kidding me." Davina muttered. "You getting off too?" She asked happy.

"No, actually, I just didn't want you to be alone during the ride."

She gave happy a hug before stepping out of the plane. "It was good seeing you happy." She waved goodbye at happy as the plane took off to wherever happy told the pilot to go. "You look stupid." She said to adam, her back turned to him.

"Can we talk about how stupid I look later? Fury and hill are waiting for you." Adam grabbed davina's backpack from her shoulders and threw it in the backseat.

She opened the passenger door and stared at adam until she got his attention. "What?" He asked annoyed by her staring.

"Nothing. Well, you just agreed with me that you look stupid." Davina smiled and got inside the car.

"Fury had to call her. Why not carol or wanda?" Adam said to himself before getting into the car.

"Does shield have a place like this everywhere? Can we go to the one in greece?" Davina asked amazed by the tunnel adam was leading her through.

"Do you happen to have duct tape with you?"

"No, why?"

"So I can put it over your mouth! D, you haven't stopped talking since you got here." Adam pointed out.

The blonde girl scoffed at his words. "I'm sorry, but my surroundings happen to be breathtaking and I am acknowledging them."

"You made me pull over because of a flower."

"I promised juniper that I would bring her a something pretty."

Adam shook his head as maria came into his sight. "I brought the devil spawn." He said proudly.

"Fury's on his way. He's bringing parker." Maria said. Hearing the word parker brought a wave of panic to davina.

"Peter's coming? Here?" Davina asked nervously.

"Yeah, fury needed help. His help." Adam replied. "Where's beck?"

"I hope we're talking about the same beck because I am about to tell him that his song loser is such an iconic song."

"Sorry to disappoint." A new voice emerged.
