Athena Bradley.

I woke up with a burning pain in my neck. It felt like it was on fire. It stopped when someone kiss me there. I relaxed in his arms and closed my eyes, trying to go back to sleep.

"I know you're awake, Athena."His morning voice was husky. I turned around and stared into his brown eyes. They held worry and relief in them. He leaned in and connected our lips. It was a short sweet kiss.

"I was so worried."He whimpered and put his head in the crook of my neck. My fingers hovered over the back of his neck. Goosebumps appeared. I smiled at the effect I had on him and ran my hand through his soft brown hair.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to be alone for a while."I whispered. Memories from yesterday filled my brain. Aiden Jones. He was a weird guy. He looked like he was obsessed with me. You could see it in his eyes and I didn't like it one bit. He gave off a creepy vibe.

"What happened?"He asked, kissing my forehead. I raised my hand up to my neck and winced as I touched the mark.

"I was sitting down next to a tree and a guy came out of nowhere. He kept saying things like 'I shouldn't be here alone' and he kept coming closer. I tried to get away but I couldn't and he bit my neck."I explained with a frown. He looked angry.

"Did he say anything else to you?"I nodded.

"He said 'I finally have what is mine'."I told. His grip on me tighten and he growled."He also said that his name is Aiden Jones."

His brown eyes turned black. His jaw was clenched and he stared at the wall behind me.

"What's wrong?"I asked worried. He looked at me and smashed his lips against mine. He pushed me on the bed and hovered over me. He leaned down and pressed hot kisses on my neck where I got bit. I felt something wet fall on my shoulder.

"Colton?"I whispered. He sat up next to me and I sat on his lap. He buried his head and my neck. He whimpered and more tears fell on my shoulder. My arms wrapped around him.

"He marked you."He whispered and I felt his teeth graze on my neck.

"He can't mark you! I'm the only one who can mark you!"He yelled and bit into my neck. My neck was throbbing and I screamed. My screams turned into moans of pleasure. It didn't feel like how it was when Aiden bit me. It felt good. He kissed my neck and licked it.

"Eww, that's gross."I scrunched my nose in disgust. He looked at me and cracked a smile.

"No, it's not. I'm taking care of my mate."He kissed my cheek. A smile stretched across my face.

"Colton, I love you."I bit my lip. He grinned and kissed my lips.

"I love you, Athena."

After a couple days of worrying and convincing Colton that I was okay, we went back to school. This time Colton went to his own classes and we would met up at lunch.

I walked into the cafeteria and walked over to our table, where Colton was laughing with his friends. Before I could reach the table he was in front of me. I smiled up at him.

"I missed you."He hugged me, putting his face in my neck.

"It was only a couple of hours."I chuckled and kissed his cheek. He pulled away and held my hand as we walked to the table.

"Hey guys."I smiled at them and seat next to Colton. They grinned at us and Ella smiled at me, creepily. I looked at her weirdly. I tried to ignore her but she continued.

"Stop it."I pouted. She continued, ignoring my words.

"Stop it."I whined and she laughed a little before turning serious.

"I want to talk to you alone."She had a smug look on her face. Oh no. I nodded and we stood up until I was stopped.

"Where are you going? You just got here."His pink lips pouted. I giggled.

"I want to talk to Ella, alone."I said."I promise I'll come back after."

I leaned down at gave him a peck on the lips and quickly walked away with Ella. Once we reached outside the cafeteria and into the field outside.We took a seat under the tree.

"So you and Colton have been getting close. He marked you didn't he?"She smirked.

"Ummm.."I blushed and she giggled.

Her giggles stopped and she opened her mouth but froze. Her eyes were wild and wide. She stared behind me and stood up, quickly. I stood up and looked behind me. There was Aiden. What is he doing here?

"Mate."Ella reached out to him but he ran over to me. He wrapped his arms around me. Ella whimpered and looked at me angry.

"What are you doing?"I asked angrily., trying to push him off of me. He was too strong. Fućk being a human. His touch burned and not like how Colton's touch would. It hurt.

"I came to see what is mine."He kissed my cheek. It burned so much. Tears stung in my eyes.

"But you're my mate."Ella said hurt. I hated seeing her like this. He finally looked at her and glared. She shrunk back scared as she let out another painfully whimper.

"I, Aiden Jones- whats your name?"He asked her. She shook her head. He released me and walked over to her, grabbing her arm. He gave her a deadly glare.

"Leave her alone!"I yelled but he ignored me.

"Tell me your name!"He demanded. She gulped and said her name. He grinned.

"Colton!"I yelled. I hoped he could hear me. Aiden glanced at me and turned back to Ella.

"I, Aiden Jones, reject you, Ella Mitchell, as my mate."He said at the same time that Colton came. He wrapped his warm arms around me and I put my head in his chest as I heard Ella cry. I could feel Aiden's eyes on me. I peaked out to look at him. Colton's arm wrapped around me tightly.

"Let go of her."Aiden glared at Colton.

"No, she is my mate. I suggest you leave right now this is my territory, Rogue."Colton's voice was deep and held authority. Aiden snarled but walked back into the forest.

"Did he hurt you?"He asked after Aiden left. I ignored him and looked at Ella. She was crying in John's arms as he tried to comfort her.

"Ella."My voice cracked. She looked at me, tearing streaming down her face. She gave me a deadly glare.

"This is all your fault!"She yelled, tears clouding her eyes. Colton growled and she whimpered.

"Don't talk to her like that! She is your Luna!"He yelled, the vein at the side of his neck visible."John take her back inside."

John obeyed his orders. Tears slowly ran down my face. I held on to Colton tighter. He looked down at me.

"Baby, it's alright."He comfort me. She was right. This is all my fault. I wish he would have just accepted her.

Colton leaned down to kiss me. I kissed back but pulled away. I put my head back in his chest and cried. His hand ran through my hair, trying to calm me down. She hates me now.
