Colton's POV
two days later.
She left me. Again.
Of course she did. After what you did to her. Till this day my wolf still growls at me about what happened.
That was years ago.
It doesn't change the fact that we lost our mate. I didn't even get a chance to talk other before she left.
I cut the mind link and rose up from my bed. I need to go for a run. I walked out of the house and into the woods shifting into my wolf. I don't know long I ran for but it was a really long time until I smelt the most amazing scent ever. I ran to it immediately with a wolffish grin on my face.
There she was, standing there with a beautiful smile on her face.
Athena. My wolf purred with joy as she smiled at us. I looked next to her to she him.
Why is she with him?
She must have noticed my anger towards him and walked over to us. I went down on my paws and she ran a hand through my fur.
"Colton, it's okay. Harvey came for his mate. You and I are going to be together."She smiled. I got up and ran back into the woods, behind a tree. I put on a pair of basketball shorts and ran back out to Athena, holding her in my arms.
"Am I dreaming?"I muttered into her heart. I must be dreaming. I've had this dream a lot before.
She giggled."No, you're not. I mean it, Colton, we are going to be together."
"Forever?"I asked and looked at her to her smiling up at me. She nodded, her bright eyes looking up at me.
"Forever."
"I love you, Athena."
"I love you, Colton."I leaned down and put her lips against mine. It was gentle but full of need and love. I miss this.
Someone cleared their throat, making Athena pull away. I growled at Harvey who was standing there, awkwardly.
"I'm sorry but where is she?"
Athena giggled."I'll show you her."She turned to me."I will be back."

Harvey left with Layla. I finally have my Athena back, right where she belongs.
"Daddy!"Olivia squealed with Logan following as Athena chased them into the living. I smiled when Athena grabbed them both and placed kisses all over their faces. Their laughter made my heart warm.
"Are you two hungry?"My mom walked into the living room, looking at the twins. They both nodded and followed her into the kitchen. Before the entered the kitchen I heard Logan say Starving.
I looked at my beautiful mate who was sitting on the ground. I walked over to her, picking her up bridal style."I have something planned for tomorrow."
She wrapped her arms around my neck and looked at me with an amused look."And what is that?"
"It's a surprise."
She rolled her eyes with a pout."Please tell me."I shook my head and pecked her lips.
"I can't. It would ruin the surprise."I told with a small smirk. She nods and puts her head the crook of my neck, sighing. I shivered and felt her smile into my neck. She loved that effect she had on me.
"Mommy, come here!"Logan shouts from inside the kitchen. I put her down and we walk into the kitchen to see Logan eating cookies."Here."He pats the seat next to him and Athena sits down next to him.
"Yes, baby?"She smiles and everyone in the room, looks at them. He pushes the plate with a cookie right in the middle in front of her.
"I save you one."Logan says with a cute smile.Olivia turns to me."I save you one too, daddy."Everyone in the room smiles and aww's at the two.I grabbed Olivia and place her on my lap as Athena copies my actions, sitting right next me. We must look like one happy family.
After we eat, it is about 8:00 and we decide to put the twins to bed."Can we stay with you tonight?"Olivia asks, cutely. Her big brown eyes looking up at me. I look at Athena who nods.
"Sure, my babies."She says and picks up Olivia while I pick up Logan. We place them on the bed and I change into some shorts with a t-shirt before hopping in bed with them. Athena changes into some shorts and a top. We put the twins in the middle of us. I look down at the kids who are half asleep and then at Athena to see that she is already staring a me.
"I chose the right guy."She whispers, her blue eyes boring into mine. I drape my arm across the kids, carefully and rubbed Athena's arm."I love you, Colton Reid."
"I love you, Athena Bradley."
A/N: Life sucks right now. I honestly wish I could stop caring for once in my life. Is it just me but it seems like I'm always sad when it's raining.
Anyway enjoy this chapter I'll update next week.
