Chapter One: The Reaping

Hey guys! So I have been excited to do this story for forever.

The plot of this book is a little hard to explain. So this story is basically The Hunger Games book. It will have the same lines as the Hunger Games, but the characters will be from the Percy Jackson universe. Also, it will be tweaked so our favorite ships can happen. So it's like a Percy Jackson version of the Hunger Games.

Chapter One: The Reaping

District One:

The crowd stood silent as Medea dipped her hand into the large glass bowl.

The crowd wasn't nervous. They were buzzing with the excitement of seeing who would volunteer. They person who was reaped was pitied because they wouldn't be able to go into the Games.

"Katherine-" 

"Let me stop you right there." Drew Tanaka made her way forward, ignoring all the glares she was getting.

"There's no point in pulling out that name. I volunteer."

"Well!" Medea clapped her hands in delight. "Excellent!"

Before she could read the boys, a scrawny boy with blond hair approaches the stage. "I volunteer!" He called.

There were murmurs of unrest due to his scrawny-ness, but everyone could see the evil glint in his eye.

"Wonderful!" Medea beamed at him. "Our tributes from District One, Drew Tanaka and Octavian Legacy!"

District Two:

The crowd in two was not silent. Everyone was moving around, trying to get the best spot so that they can see their tributes.

They all knew who would volunteer this year. Luke Castellan and Clarisse La Rue were both muscular, clever, and good looking (well, Luke was).

So when Kronos called out the Tributes, no one challenged Luke or Clarisse as they volunteered, murderous looks in their eyes.

No one doubted that one of them would be the Victor.

District Three:

Annabeth watched the ceremony nervously. She did not want to get picked. Next to her stood Leo, her hyper-active best friend. Leo was always tinkering around with something, and today it was some wires and cloth.

"Annabeth Chase!" Chiron called out. 

Time seemed to stop as Chiron read her name. She couldn't be going into the Games! She would never survive!

Leo gave her a hug. "You can do this, Annie."

"Don't call me that," Annabeth snapped as she makes her way up to the stage.

"Leo Valdez!"

Leo dropped his coils in surprise. First Annie, and now him? This couldn't be happening!

"Leo Valdez," Chiron repeated. 

Leo hastily made his way up to the stage. Annabeth had tears in her eyes as she shook his hand.

District Four:

Percy just wanted to go home.

He watched as a girl named Reyna was reaped, and he barely heard the boys name. Poor guy, he thought.
