Chapter 24~ Like father, like son

My heartache turned more into a sting.
That's not my fault. That's Tenten's fault.
I felt the first tear running down my cheek.
My glance wandered to Neji's left hand which I carefully took in mine.
The first few tears landed on his bandages, slowly absorbing the wet.
"Neji..." I sighed.
Suddenly I felt a light squeeze on my hand.
"Don't cry." Neji's husky voice sounded in my ears.
As I looked up my surprised black orbs met his pained snowy one.
"It hurts to see you cry."

*Flashback*

*Neji's PoV*

I knocked at (Y/N) apartment, lightly leaning on the stone wall next to the door.
"She isn't at home." A voice said.
I looked over my shoulder to see a young lady.
"Oh, I guess I just wait for her." I told the woman with black hair.
"Man, you can't keep your hand's from her, hm? You already picked her up today. I wish my Boyfriend would pay that much attention to me." She said with a frown and took out a key, passing me.
"I already picked her up today?" I asked her confused.
"Yes, a few hours ago..."She thought for a moment. "Or maybe it was another Hyuga, you all are looking the same to me." She opened the door to an apartment while shrugging and disappeared.

My eyebrow raised.
I let her comment bounce off and looked at the door.
A Hyuga? Today was the meeting and everybody was- Tenten..
I shook my head while sighing.
This little bitch, now it's getting personal.

I started jumping from one roof top to the other.
What is her plan..She knows that she can't hide (Y/N) from a Hyuga.
I started to follow some traces into the wood while avoiding some traps.
Soon I saw some kunai flying towards me, landing on the branch I just stepped at.

"You are so annoying.." I rolled with my eyes.
Tenten laughed. "I am annoying?" She asked while shaking her head. "Just leave us alone. (Y/N) doesn't want to see you anymore."
I tilted my head. "You kidnapped her." I stated.
"I didn't, she just wanted to spend some time with me. Some day's in a tent, under the sparkling stars. She is bored of you, Neji." She told with a slightly dreamy tone, but a strait expression.
"She can tell me that in my face." I told her serious.
Does she really believe her lie's?

I started to jump closer.
Again some kunai flow towards me, this time towards my body.
I dodged.
"Last warning, Hyuga. She doesn't want to see you." Tenten told me.
"She doesn't want to me or she can't see me because she is blindfolded or she is unconscious because of you?" I asked her.

"You don't deserve her!" She screamed at me mad. "You will never see her in the way I do, you will never love her in the way I do!"
"Love? If you really would love her, you would be happy for her happiness, and not sabotage her relationship or even kidnappe her to keep her away from me! You don't know what love is! You are too selfish to love somebody." I growl at her. "This is your last chance. Just let me and (Y/N) be and I may have mercy on you."

"I will fight for her!" She yelled angry at me, dashing away and keeping distance. "I would die for her." She hissed while she opened a scroll and throw some weapons on me.
I dodged and waited for a good timing to dash to her.

After a good punch in her stomach and her face met my fist, she tumbles backwards. Only the tree behind her kept her standing.
"You are too weak to be an opponent of mine." I told her as I watched her breath heavily. "You will never be with (Y/N)."
