Chapter 37 ~ Happy Birthday

Previously:
As I walked out of my room, I got a mad glance by Fudo.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"You know what..." He grumbled.
"No, what do I know?" I asked again.
Neji stepped out of his room.
"That what.."Fudo threw with his gaze daggers at him.
"Guys, let's leave...I just wanna go back home..." Guy said with a tired voice.

After seven day traveling, including four days with a seasick Guy and Lee at sea, we finally arrived at Konoha...
"Hey, (Y/n)." Lee jogged quickly to me while Neji was busy with my brother Fudo.
Something unimportant has happened again and Neji has stamped it as fate.
Fudo, who doesn't believe in the fate, didn't let it sit on it and had to comment something stupid.
For the tenth time this week they are discussing about it...
"You know the plan?" He asked hyped.
I gave him a thumb up.
A shiny grin appeared on his face and he also gave me a thumb up.

"God, you are unbelievable..." Neji sighed out loud and walked up towards Lee and me.
"I don't understand how you two are related..." Neji mumbled as we walked through the city.
I giggled at him.
Distract, (Y/n), you must distract him...
"Why don't we go to the hot springs?" I suggested. "It's been a while and the travel back was stressful."
"That sounds pretty tempting, but I pass." Neji said. "I just wanna go home and lay down."
Fuck.
"Aw, comon Neji...That will be relaxing." I tried to find something to convince him. "It will be just we both."
He pressed his lips together."Tomorrow?" He asked with an hopeful tone.
No, today...
"Okay, tomorrow." I smiled.

"I am going to look forward to that.." A sly smirk was on his face which made me blush.
I sank into my thought and played several scenarios to find out how to stop Neji from going home.
Lee does need time to get the other, to get all the things and to decorate...What shall I do...
We approached the Hyuga estate as...

"(Y/n)!" Neji shouted surprised as I land on the ground.
He squated next to me and helped me to sit up.
"I am alright." I told him embarrassed as he scanned me with his byakugan.
"No, you are no-" I didn't even let him end his sentence.
"I really am, look." I pushed myself up, instantly regretting it as through my ankle shot a throbbing pain which I tried to hide.
"(Y/n), you shouldn't strain your ankle. I guess it is sprained." He told me as he raised my foot to inspect it.

I hold on his back while he continued to look at my foot.
"We should go to the hospital with that..." Neji stated as he stood up.
"W-what, no!" I refused with a frown.
A squeaking noise escaped me as he picked me up.
"Someone should take a look at it." He told me and started to walk.
"You did..." I told him quietly which made him laugh.
"Someone who can treat that." He corrected himself.

Soon we arrived at the hospital.
At the reception sat a lady I knew.
I Looked at her with a pleading look while Neji placed me back on my feet.
She sighed slightly while turning around and walking away.

Neji looked at me confused.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Guess she is getting Tsunade." I said while looking after her.
"Hm.."

After a short moment Tsunade arrived.
"It's nice to see you two. How was it? Did everything worked out?" She asked with a small smile.
I nodded. "Yeah I hope so. At least I feel different." I told her.
She nodded at my answer. "How can I help you two?"
"(Y/n) stumbled and now her ankle is sprained." Neji informed her quickly.
The lady came with a wheelchair on which I sat down. "Thank you for bringing her." Tsunade said to Neji while he turned around and was about to leave.
Fuck.
"NO WAIT!" I yelled after him and stretched my arms out for him while Tsunade already turned me around.
Everybody stood still and watched me confused.

I blushed out of embarrassment and Tsunade lifted an eyebrow at me.
"(Y/n)?" She asked surprised.
For a short moment I sat frozen in the chair.
"Do you want me to stay..?" Neji asked slowly.
I just nodded.
Tsunade started to push me down the hall.
While reaching the end of it, she looked shortly over her shoulder. "I need one moment to check her up. Would you mind to get some drinks from the cafeteria?"
With that we entered the room.
