"Ohh, I still have a few from the last few birthdays." Neji laid his new book down on the table.
The others handed over their gifts and at some point there was only me left.
"Well, my present is pretty privat...So, I will hand it to you later, alright?" I asked him with a small smile.
He nodded in agreement.
Nevertheless, I saw that he actually wanted it now and shattered his head over what could it possibly be.

*3th Person PoV*

Neji stood at the gate of Konohagakure and watched her go.
Her, (Y/n), the one to whom he has poured his heart and loved from his head to toe.

*Flashback*

"Uhhh, guys!" Ino squeaked." (Y/n) want's to give Neji her present."
Kiba had a dirty grin on his face.
"You guys can leave. We will clean up a bit!" He told the couple and winked towards Neji.
"It's nothing like that..." (Y/n) mumbled under her breath, her cheek red like a tomato and took Neji's hand in hers.
Together they left the garden and walked down the hall.
Arrived at Neji's room, he opened the door for her and she limped in.

In the middle of the room she stopped and waited until he stood next to her.
When she was finally in his embrace, she put her head on his chest.
She was getting nervous, her heart raced against her breast, she felt slightly fidgety and her palms were sweating while she couldn't decide if it was too hot or just damn cold.
A clearing of her throat broke the silence.

"Neji?" She said his name while gently pushing him away to take a look at him and watched him directly in his eye.
"Hm?" He made a short humming sound.
She reached into the pocket of her pants.
Apart from the fact that she had no time to wrap up his present, was it a last minute gift.
It's not that she is a bad girlfriend and has forgotten his birthday, no.
Almost two months ago, (Y/n) has begun to search for it but found nothing perfectly.
Until the day she saw her brothers again.
Daichi told her about a blacksmith in their village who made not only weapons, but also jewelry.
Simple but still beautiful jewelry that even a gentleman like Neji would wear.
She got him a dog tag with a specific engraving.

(Y/n) didn't wait until he could really take a look at it, she immediately put it around his neck.
Curious, he picked up the piece of metal.
A small drawing was the first thing that fell in his eyes.
The border of a bird.
He felt warm around his heart when he read the back.
'always fly back to me' and right under the text was a small squere of his birth stone.
The time stood still and a second felt like an hour.
That made (Y/n) even more nervous.
Doesn't he like it..? Was all she could thought.

Finally his snow-white eyes met hers.
"(Y/n), I don't know what to say..." His smile was beaming."Thank you!"
She blushed. "Really? Y-you like it?"
Neji leaned down and only stopped as he nearly reached her lips. "Yes, I do." He breathed and then gently kissed her.
Their lips moved in unison.
It broke (Y/n) heart as he let go of her.
Her mood changed to a sad one.

"What is it?" Neji asked with a frown.
"We will leave in a few days."
(Y/n) words felt like a blade that stuck through Neji's chest and pierced through his heart.

*End of Flashback*

Neji reached for his dog tag, reading the little text over and over again.
always fly back to me
He played with the little piece and watched how the figure of his love became smaller and smaller.
Suddenly he grabbed the metal and held the trailer close to his heart.
No!

*(Y/n)'s PoV*

My brothers talked while we were now out of sight of the gates.
I stifled a sigh.
Of course, I was glad that I was finally able to return home, but Konoha felt like a second home to me and actually I had no desire to confront Sho anymore.

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
When I turned around, Neji stood in front of me.
"(Y/n)..." He said my name quietly.
I looked at him with wide eyes. "Neji, we already said our goodbyes."
"Don't think that (Y/n) will stay." Fudo said as he crossed his arms.
"No, you three need to go back to your dimension." Neji told him while he took a quick look at him. "J-just...let me accompany you."
I frowned at him.
He wants to go to our dimension?
As I opened my mouth to say something, Neji interrupted me.
"Just to the portal." He added quickly.
A quiet sigh escaped me and I smiled at his behavior. "Alright."

Together we continued walking the way along.
While my bothers continued to talk about some nonsense, Neji inconspicuously took my hand in his.
After a while we reached a place from which a strong aura emanated.
The paved path got more and more cracks from which a shining white rise.
At the end of this path was a big flickering crack in the landscape, the portal.

"We can't allow you to go further Neji." Daichi said as we came to a stop. "I don't want that any guard see you with us. That might be dangerous."
Neji nodded in understanding."Be careful, I hope that I might see you again."
They smiled at each other.
"I am sure."
With that Daichi walked into the white and left this dimension.
Fudo looked skeptical at him.
"And I am pretty sure that we will see us again, fate-fanatic." He mumbled the last more to himself and without saying anymore he walked into the light.

"You may say whatever you want, he likes you in some way." I giggled with a bright smile.
He shook his head and laughed. "Yeah, of cause."
I sighed as we both got quiet.
"Seams like you are the one who has to fly back to me, hm?" He asked while his thumb stroked over my knucklebone.
Slowly I nodded. "I will...In time..."
One last time he pulled me in his embrace.
I inhaled his scent deeply.
"Maybe my mobile phone will work on the other side." I said as my mood slowly got sad.
"Yeah, maybe..." He mumbled as he laid his head on my shoulder.
"Neji!" I slightly pushed him away as the first tear of the day escaped my eye. "It was hard enough to not cry as we stood on the gates!" I pouted.
He chuckled and brushed over my cheek, drying my tears.
"I wont be gone too long."
"Take as much time as you need." He said with a smile.
"How can you say that...?" I asked.
Gently, he kissed me on my head. "I will spend the rest of my life with you, beautiful. I will manage it to not see you for a few weeks."
"But I wont!"
His thin fingers pushed my chin up and gently his lips touched mine. "I will wait for you."
"I will come back home again, Neji."

After one more moment, I walked to the portal and without looking back to Neji, I stepped into the crack.
White surrounded me and it felt like the ground under my feet would be pulled away.
I fell in a nothing.
It felt like an eternity until I landed on my feet again.
The area looked somehow familiar, yet foreign.
The sky was  purple colored from the setting sun, while the ground was in a bright frosty white and the air was cool which made me shiver.

"(Y/n) watch out!" Fudo's voice yelled from behind me.
Even before I could react, I felt the impact of a dull thud on the back of my head.
I stumbled as my legs became weak and gave in.
With a loud noise I slammed on the floor.
A short time later someone picked me up.
With the very last strength, I kept my eyes open.
Several men stood around the crack.
Their aura, which were in different colors, seemed to enclose the portal and the crack shut down.
My eyelids became so heavy that I could not keep them open...

When I finally had enough strength and opened my eyes, I was in a familiar room.
The walls of the tiny room were made of dark red-gray bricks.
There was a bed with a blanket and a small pillow, a table made of dark wood with a fitting chair
As single light source a window with bars in front of it and a locked wooden door.
"Hey! Let me out!" I knocked firmly against the door.
"Shut up! Or..." Someone yelled from the outside.
"Or what?" I asked curious.
The door flew open, almost hitting my body.
I stared up at a man who was two heads taller than me.
He seamed pretty young to be someone who works in a castle.

My heart started to race.
I felt like that little frightened girl from back then.
Instinctively I stepped away.
"Ohh, seams like someone is a bit cheeky him?" He laughed.
A second man entered the room.
"Look who woke up." He chuckled amused.
"Big mouth, nothing behind it." The first one nudged with his elbow in the side of his colleague, which already wanted to go back.
Seeing them laughing at me let a switch flip in my head.
Everything happened faster than they liked.
I ran towards them, clasped with my hands to the shoulder of the one and threw my legs forward and kicked the second guard away.
With the rest of the swing I lifted my legs, clinging them to the man's neck and raised my upper body, causing him to lose his balance and fly on the ground.
As the second man again faced me, I gave him a simple side kick which made him unconscious.
When I looked at the first guard, he was still on the ground.
I made a pejorative noise. "Noobs."

I took a couple of keys, which one of them wore and left my cell.
"(Y/n)?! Are you alright?" A voice asked.
"Daichi?" I asked surprised.
I walked to the door from where his voice came.
Behind the small latticed peephole at the door I saw the face of my brother.
"(Y/n)!" His eyes gleamed.
I took the keys and tried a few on the lock to open the door.
"Yes, I am alright." I smiled at him while getting a little nervous.
"Try the big one!" He told me while watching my act.

The big rusty key opened it.
Daichi jumped on me happily.
"Your welcome!" I patted his back while hugging him back.
When he finally let go of me he saw the one guard on the floor in the hallway and a small part of the other guard. "What happened with them?"
I shrug with my shoulders. "They got tired of me."
"My dearest favorite sister, did you forget me?"
I turned around to see the face of Fudo in the peephole of the door right in front of Daichi's cell.
"I am your only sister." I stated with a frown.
"You will always be my favorite one." He smile towards me.
I rolled with my eyes and also opened his door.

"Alright, let us find Aiolos and beat Sho..." Fudo said while walking out of the room.
After we didn't find him in the dungeon, we went to a secret passage where we often played as still we were small, which left us undetected.
A few turns after, we came out in his room.
"Were might we find him?" Diachi asked.
"I guess we would find him faster if we split up." I told them.
"No way I am going to leave you!" Fudo frowned at me while crossing his arms.
"Maybe Sho didn't caught him." Daichi thought out loud.
"So, what are we going to do? Just facing him?" I asked them.
"Yeah, why not.."Daichi shrug with his shoulder while looking at Fudo.
"We need a plan guys..." I face palmed.

"Why aren't we a little spontaneous..?" Fudo said like it was a good plan.
Where is Neji when I need him..
"Just walk!" I pushed them back to the passage.
After a while we arrived in a tunnel, which led us to the throne room, from where we heard voices.
We stopped at the back at a painting, which was a secret entrance to the room.

"Yes, everything went according to our plan." One of the dull voices spoke.
"That is very good." The second said."It wont be long before we can distribute the rumors that they are dead..."
"Rumors? I thought we were really killing them." The first one seamed a little confused.
"Oh, we will. Don't worry." The second started to laugh. "And of course, after having trained you properly, I'll let you get your throne back..."
"Thank you, uncle." The first voice said gratefully.
Uncle...?
Footsteps sounded, slowly they became quieter.
"Ah, Aiolos. You forgot something!"-
-Brother...? That can't be...He wouldn't...
