Chapter 40 ~ Invisible wound

Slowly I felt how self-hating rose in me.
Maybe it was a mistake to let her leave alone.
My legs came to a stop and I looked up, searching for the brightly glowing planet, which always reminds me of (Y/n).
New moon.
Seams like even the moon has left me, but at least I know that he will come back.

*Much later*

I smooth my dress one last time before I pushed the doors open and entered the big room.
Several men stood around a table, including my brother Daichi and Fudo.
"Lady (Y/n)." One of the men greeted me, what brought me the attention of everyone.
I smiled at them.
"Any news?" I asked the little group.
Daichi looked quickly to Fudo. "Lastly Aiolos was seen at a harbor south in a hostile country."
"So, he is still running away." I stated while playing with my necklace. I wore those who once gave me my parents for my birthday."Maybe something good?"
"I guess that we are able to open the portal..." Daichi grinned at me.
"What?" I asked in disbelief, these new made my heart sink of joy and nervousness.
Fudo nodded. "Yeah, just at the moment four of our men are trying to open it."
"Where?!" I asked more excited then I wanted.
"At the same-" "Thanks!" I interrupted Fudo and run out of the door, making my way to the spot where it used to be.

Suddenly self-doubt came up in me, changing my mood from a happy-excited to a sad-negative one.
What if Neji doesn't want to see me anymore?
What if we changed too much?
What if he doesn't love me anymore?
And what if he still is bound to me, will everything be like it used to be?
What if he doesn't forgive me for leaving?

I slowed down as I saw the four men.
They stood in a circle and their energies were bundled in the middle, which resulted in a little colorful energy-cloud.
I watched in amazement while the beautiful cloud grew steadily.
All at once a white hole opened in the cloud.
The portal..
I approached, ready to go through it, when one of the men stretched out his arm and stopped me.
"You really want to go through it?" He asked me.
I looked closer: From the edges it twitched at irregular intervals.
"If you want to go through this portal, you have to be pretty skillful, otherwise you enter the portal at the moment it contracts and suffers a small but painful electric shock." He warned me.
"The portal is not stable." I mumbled understanding.
"So you do wish to enter?" He asked with a frown.

I pushed his arm away and got closer to the pulsating portal.
After I felt ready and waited for the right moment to go in, I stepped into the portal.
It felt like the ground disappeared under my feet and I fell into a white nothing.
After only a short time I was finally in the other dimension.
Shortly after I arrived my phone rang and vibrated crazily.

Neji ~ (Y/n), the portal got closed, is everything okay?

Neji ~ I am worried, please call me.

1 missed call - Neji

Neji ~ (Y/n)?

2 missed calls - Neji

Neji ~ Just talked to someone,we have to be in the same dimension that we can write each other or call... Just that you know if you ever come back..

Neji ~ I love you.

Neji ~ I miss you.

Neji ~ Feeling kinda lonely since you are gone.

Neji ~ If you ever come back: surprise me somehow.

Neji ~ Forget the last message, please just call me...I miss your voice.

Neji ~ I was the first time in a long time in your apartment. I took a few things, hope you don't mind.

Neji ~ You know, I had a lot of time to think since you are gone. I guess I do now understand why it hurts so much...It hurts because I just fucking love you,  I don't know if you ever come back and I never can get over you. You are the most positive and precious person in my life and since you are gone it feels like my will to life is gone. You are the yang to my yin.
