"How powerful must the ally be?" I asked him.
"Very..." He shook his head.
"You know, I have a high born friend, still not engaged and searching for a nice and kind clan like the Hyuga." I said slowly.
His eyebrow raised. "How high born?"
"Very..?" I had more an asking tone instead of the confident I needed.
He sighed. "It's nice that you want to help, but I can't marry of Hinata nor Hanabi."
"They wouldn't marry of, I would marry in and I know the truth"
His eyes went wide at my words. "You are high born?"
*(Y/N)'s PoV*
I blushed embarrassed and looked away.
"Y-yeah.." I stuttered.
For a moment he was silent, looking down on his lap.
His black strains covered his face.
I inhaled deeply.
"I-I know I never told you about that, b-but please don't hate me-" I stopped as he looked up to me.
A slight smile on his lips. "I cloud never hate you, (Y/N)."
"Then what are you thinking about?" I asked surprised.
"How to tell my family that I will marry you." Hearing that from his deep voice made my heart skip and blush more insanely than Hinata.
He chuckled at my reaction. "Well, you know that I still will do a proposal, after the blessing of your brothers?"
"If you want to." I said quietly, nervously playing with my fingers.
"Wanna talk about other themes?" He laughed. I nodded.
"I heard that once a princess got kidnapped and that she might be dead now. Around this time you came to Konoha, so I guess that you are the princess?" He guessed.
"Yeah, I am the daughter of King Kai and Queen Annebell II (L/N)" I told him proudly.
"(L/N). I always thought that you don't have a last name." He sighed, looking up to the ceiling.
"What's it?" I asked with a frown.
"Well, to be honest, I am a little upset that you never told me your secret. But I shouldn't be, at least you had your reasons and I also kept mine." He watched me from the corner of his eye.
I looked down on my fingers. "There were times were I thought that you might be a spy or an ally from Sho." I confessed.
Neji opened up his mouth to speak but got interrupted by a knock. Shortly after a nurse entered.
"I need to treat Mr. Hyugas wounds." She told me, expecting me to leave.
As I was about to, Neji stopped me by holding my wrist.
I looked at him confused.
He pulled me to him and gently kissed me on my forehead.
"I will always protect you, no matter from who." He said softly with a serious expression.
"Thank you." I mouthed to him.
With one last glance he let go of me, letting me exit his room.
I made my way to my room.
As I arrived I started to change my bandages.
What the..?
I searched for my wounds on my skin, not even seeing a scratch.
Well, at least I know why I don't feel any pain.
I threw the bandages in a trash and took a short shower.
After dressing up I made my way to the reception and let me send home.
*Timeskip*
I was standing infront of the big dark door.
Neji, Hiashi and the council entered the meeting room an hour ago. After some time two Ambus entered.
My foot was tapping nervously on the floor while I waited them to be finished.
Suddenly the door opened and Neji came out, instantly looking at me.
A smile appeared on his face and he closed his eyes in relieve, lightly nodding towards me.
I smiled back, hugging him tightly.
"Thank god, that took forever." I sighed.
He chuckled. "Yeah, but it is worth it."
