Note : this chapter is partially in Draco's POV. I hope I've made it clear when it switched back to Raelin's POV. Draco's POV will not be a regular thing but it will happen sometime.

DRACO MALFOY POV!
She left the book she was reading open on the table. I can't help but wonder what she was reading. Moving over to look I have a quick read. 'The thoughts potion' she must be using that for her potions homework. I carry on reading and find another potion that sound pretty interesting 'the silence potion' it says it will shut the mouth of whoever drinks it for a week. Sounds good! If only I could get that Raelin girl to drink it, shut her up for a week, that would be great. Stop her running her mouth about me.
My friends haven't stopped taking the piss of me since she first called me out after quidditch yesterday, saying she put me in my place and I need a girl like her to do it more often. Ha! No fucking way! Then there's that bloody friend of her's, Issac, my friends won't shut up about him either, 'when are you gonna get him back?' they say and I'm sick of it! Not to mention the constant taunts of 'he's stealing your girl Draco, what you gonna do about it?'. Sometimes i really hate my friends!
Looking through the book I find this potion is actually pretty do-able and I actually start taking notes.
I'm happy none of my friends are here to see me, if they had witnessed the whole encounter with Raelin then that would have been pretty embarrassing in itself. But them seeing me taking notes is a definite no, and a ticket to all round the clock teasing from them and I'm not here for that!

It's the next day and I have transformations class with Professor McGonagall. I'm pretty tired because I was up late doing research for the stupid potions homework. And now I've got to deal with McGonagall moaning at me for the bloody test that I failed from last lesson.
She pulls me out of class so she can talk to me privately.
"Malfoy, you got less then expected from any student in my class on your last test"
All I did was roll my eyes
"and I've spoken to Professor Dumbledor and Professor Hooch and we've come to the agreement that if you do not improve your grades you will not be able to participate in any further quidditch games or tournaments, nor will you be allowed to practise with your team"
"What!" I exclaim
"you heard me Malfoy, I'm going to assign someone to tutor you for this class"
"who?" I ask a little aggressively
"Well I need to finalise the arrangements with the student first but, Lucy"
"Lucy!" I almost shout, I'm angry now! Why her! "she's so bloody annoying though"
"that is no way to talk to your Professor or about your peers, Malfoy" she states back to me sternly "and the arrangements will go ahead even if you do not apove. You are to attend three study sessions though out each week until your grades are up. And that is the way it is going to be"
She walks back into the class room and I follow behind her brudingly.
My eyes are immediately drawn to Lucy as I wish she never existsed. I'm distracted through by a small laugh and ginger brown hair, I see Raelin talking across the tables to some girl in Gryffindor, I recognise her to also be one of Isaacs friends.
She turns around and catches me starting at her. He face falls to a look of discust and I frown at her, knowing full well she's probably thinking I was starting at her because I was caught up in the stuff she said to me yesterday. I'm not! And I'm annoyed at myself for giving her the satisfaction of thinking I am.
I walk across the room and take my seat and just drown out what McGonagall is saying. My friends try to talk to me but I just drown them out too, telling them I'm fine and I really don't care about what they have to say at the moment.
...
RAELIN POV!
I'm in transformation class right now and I see Malfoy come back onto class from when MaGonagall took him out to talk. He's starting at me and it makes me squerm a little. His eyes on me makes me want to stare back at him and turn away at the same time. He soon breaks eye contact though and just sulks to his seat.
The rest of the lesson is kind of boring. We get the results to the test we did and I'm so happy to find I've passed. I turn to Jessie and she looks a little melancholy. I call to her and ask if she's okay. She mouths a 'yeah' but I press a little, mouthing back a 'are you sure, what did you get?'. At this she mouths '97'. And I'm flabbergasted! 97! Out of 100!!
"That's great!" I say a little too loud and everyone turn to stare at me.
"thanks" she smiles weakly at me and then chuckles to herself at my embarrassment as she turns back to her paper.
I turn back to the front and I hear someone call to me. It's a voice I don't recognise.
"Oi Raelin!" I turn to see who it is and it's one of Malfoys friends, but Malfoy himself doesn't seem anything to do with the boys purpose of calling me
"what?" I say annoyed as
He throws a piece of paper at my head. It's scrunched up in a ball and hits he right in the nose. I pick it up and open it. On the paper is a really bad drawing of a stick man. He's holding another stick that had wigglly likes coming off the end, I think it's meant to be a wand. There is also a woman sickman and she's being attacked (I think) by the 'magic' coming from the 'wand'.
There's an awful note at the bottom too and the hand writing is clearly that of a uncaring student.
'Ugly muggle borns! Deserve to die. I wish the chamber of secrets was still open so our school would be rid of you lot!'
some words were underlined and others written over and over to make them thicker. I guess to give them more emphasis.
I didn't look back at the boy. I didn't know what he was going on about either. I know it was an insult and a death threat! But I wasn't going to tell a teacher or anything because I didn't want to seem weak or a snitch. I decided to talk to Issac, Samuel and Jessie about it later.
I folded the note and put it in my pocket.
