1~ Kadori!

"Riri, 6 o'clock, watch it!"

Quickly turning a full 360, I struck my sensei straight in the chest. Him disappearing in a puff of white cloud like smoke. Just a clone.

I turned to see Hansuke Sensei sitting on a branch of the tree beside me. A slight glare visible on my pale features as he sent a wink my way. He disappeared, reappearing behind my tall teammate, Kando.

"Kando, behind you!" I shouted out a warning.

Kando in return smirked his usual smirk. "gotcha" He then jumped onto a large tree in front of him, where his smiling brother, Mando, stood.

"Okay team, formation Kadori!" Kando yelled out.

Then, Mando charged at Hansuke-sensei head on, while Kando threw his small blue genjutsu dice, landing on a 3-3. I pushed chakra into my feet, using the extra power to make a big jump, high enough to snatch the green hat off of Hansuke Sensei's messy head of hair.

"Nice work team. You guy's developed a new formation technique, i see." Hansuke Sensei stated proudly, sitting down on the green grass. We copied him, siting side by side in front of him, me sitting between the two idiots. "You guys have improved since the first time I made you do this."

"Yeah! We created a diversion with me attacking in the front. Then Kando used his new 3-3 technique. Then Riri did some awesome taijustu to snatch that hat right off your head, and you didn't even see it coming!" Mando boasted loudly, arrogance evident in his unwavering voice.

"Hey kid, shut your mouth before i do it for you" Sensei warned. In return, Kando smacked his brothers white haired head and muttered something i didn't quite pick up on, but none the less i seen Mando's eyes widen to large saucers.

"I'm sorry Hansuke Sensei!" Mando swiftly squeaked out. I really am surrounded by idiots.

"Ah yes, of course you are." He deadpanned. "Well, practice today has reached a conclusion, but before i send you off i have something to give you."

He pulled out a manila folder from his black backpack that he always seems to have with him. "The chunin exams are coming up and i have recommended you all to join it. All you have to do is turn in this application the day of the exam." He pulled three papers out of the folder, throwing the folder down on the ground and handing us the white papers.

The chunin exams, huh? Last year we failed, so lets hope for the best this year!

"Sensei, when is the exam?" I spoke up, asking the question excitedly.

"Ah.. well, you see..." He ran a hand through his yellow hair sheepishly. "The exam is Monday."

"but... it's Saturday?" Kando wondered.

"Such short notice!' Mando appointed a finger accusingly at our sheepish sensei.

" Ha, well... that's my cue to leave." With that he disappeared in a white cloud of of smoke.

He really thinks he can just do that and get away with it? Just wait till i-

"Uh... Rielri, are you okay?" Kando asked worriedly.

Kando's words snapped me out of my revenge-on-hansuke-sensei daze. I then realized i was glaring angrily at a frightened Mando that was cowering behind Kando.

" uhm, yeah, sorry, just thinking." I smiled innocently at my teammates.

The twins sweat-dropped at my words.

Later that day, I went home for the day. I lived in a nice, cozy and small house at the edge of Konoha, in the Kuso clan compound. I lived with my mother, younger sister and brother, my father having passed away a few years before.

"Mom?" I called out into the dark house before switching on the lights.

"I'm in the kitchen, Ri!" I heard my mom call out.

Walking into the kitchen i smelt a sweet aroma, and seen my mom standing next to the stove. Oven mitts and apron on.

"Today we did a teamwork exercise with Hansuke Sensei, and of course we did good" I told my mom proudly as i sat at the table watching her prepare what I assume is dinner. "Kando learned a new technique, of course it's a genjutsu"

"What kind of exercise? And what is this new technique?" Ma questioned as she stirred something in a big pot.

"We had to get a hat off sensei's head, like the exercise we did when we became official Genin." I stated. "The new technique he learned is a diversion. It puts a glint in the enemy's eyes, and tricks them into seeing something in the corner of their eye, that isn't actually there"

"Is that all that happened today?"

"No, sensei gave us applications for the Chunin exams on Monday!" I jumped up, excitement evident in my voice. "And i can't wait!"

"I know you've already took the exams one time before, but i still want you to be careful." Ma stopped stirring the food to turn around and peer into my light green eyes. "You know... I worry about you, I don't want you to end up with the same fate as your father-"

"I know Mom, but i can handle myself" I cut my mother off. "I'm a big girl now."

With that, i got up, not letting my mom say anything as I walked out of the kitchen and into my room.

Sunday morning i got up at 4 am, and left the bare house before my mother or siblings woke up. I was determined this time to get through the chunin exams, and become a chunin once and for all, and I can only do that if I made sure i was nice and trained.

As i walk into the training grounds my team usually trains at i see Hansuke Sensei sitting on the green, damp grass with a kunai is his hand as he twirls it around his left pointer finger. He's never usually at the training grounds at this time, what's the catch?

I walk up to him, and sit across from him, taking my purple dagger out of my weapon holster. "Mine's better than yours"

Sensei looked up, smirking slightly as he stared at my purple dagger. "is it really? Then why don't we test it out?"

I matched my sensei's expression, as i retorted excitedly "Why don't we then"

Me and Hansuke-sensei ended up training until 8 am, when Kando and Mando finally arrived.
