[9] A Student & her Best Friend

~3 months later~

It's been 3 months since joining team 7. Since the day I caught Sasuke smoking, our sleepovers have become regular, we're best friends now after all. Even though Sakura is my closest female friend, I hope she doesn't find out about Sasuke and I living next to each other (nevermind about our sleepovers).

As for Naruto, we've become extremely close to the point where I might as well call him my brother. I always help him train and he teaches me the path of good.

As for Kakashi, since our ramen...he's not addressed me much - apart from our awkward eye contact everytime we see each other. He's definitely keeping an eye on me to make sure I'm not up to anything. So is the Anbu, I know they're still on my back.

My job at Jiraiya's taverna has been going exceptionally well. I've had a couple performances and I'm always congratulated for my talent. Although no one knows that I work here yet. I think it's kinda embarassing if anything. But if someone I know comes in, my plan is to hide in the back or hide my face.

Lately, I've been feeling extremely emotional though. I'm not sure what's happening with me, but lately. Guys have been capturing my attention more. One second I'll be having a nice conversation, and the next, my mind is overrun with weird thoughts about them.

I might talk to the girl's about this. I've made friends outside of team 7, such as Hinata, Ino, and Tenten. I trust them so I guess they could help me.

But for now, let's chill.

I'm currently walking to the training grounds to practice my healing justu better. Sakura offered to teach me so I've become quite good at it now. But there are still some rough areas to work on.

"Y/N! WAIT UP!" I hear a voice shout for me from the distance.

I spin around and see Sasuke.

"Sasuke! Hi, what do you want?"

"You didn't wait to walk to with me," he pouts. "Anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to train together today. I want to show you this jutsu."

"I can't Sasuke, I already agreed to train with Naruto today."

"You're always with Naruto, Y/N," he whines.
God he's such a child. "I want to teach you the Chidori."

"I already know it Sasuke..." I reluctantly say. I didn't want to disappoint him or anything.

"How? Only Kakashi-sensei and I know it," he frowns.

"Sensei taught me it during our first training session, why?"

"Kakashi taught it to you on your first training session?" Sasuke balls his fists up in frustration.

"Yes, that's what I said didn't I. Why are you so bothered anyway?"

"Let's go before we're late to training," Sasuke walks off huffing.

I hope I didn't make him feel bad or anything.

"If it makes you feel better, we can get some ramen after training. We can invite the test of team 7," I say smiling.

"Aww sure," he says. I knew he'd give in.

I never thought I'd see this side of Sasuke but here we are. He seems to have warmed up to me which I'm glad about.
